5.0 out of 5 stars It's cheap and it works
I removed two links from a Citizen watch bracelet with this tool. No problems. Work under good light, push the link pin out in the direction of the arrow on the band, and turn the knob slowly until the pin pops out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tool, paid for itself, April 10, 2012

I also used this tool to resize the band on my brand new Citizens watch. The thing practically paid for itself after using it just once. Very convenient as well if you don't have time to go to a watch repair man to get the links removed. Also, it requires a little patience on your end to use, and believe me, when you're using it on an expensive watch, you'll have lots of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job for cheap, October 15, 2010

Used it to resize a new Citizens watch band. While it is for sure an inexpensively made tool, it did the job just fine. The pins it comes with are not the split pin type, but so what? If you are resizing a band you end up with extra pins anyway. All in all a tool that does the job for a very reasonable price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Exactly What I Needed, January 7, 2013

This is a great pin remover tool! I usually purchase inexpensive watches and they are always too big and local jewelers charge $15 to remove links. I was able to remove a few links and now my watch fits great! The pin remover will break if you apply too much pressure but they include extras. Overall, a great inexpensive pin remover tool for occasional use.

Worked perfectly. Cheaper then any jeweler, etc. for resizing. Paid for itself in 1 use, I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Shipping was super fast too!

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheap price & quality, September 26, 2010
A Kid's Review

Cheaply made, not sure if the pins will last. The screw that drives the pin is made of plastic, movement is clumsy at best. If you plan to use more than just once, spend a few dollars more and get one with a metal screw.

Made out of really cheap plastic. Broke after 3rd use. Spend a little more money and get a better tool. That's what I'm going to do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tool, great price, great buy. Get it now, March 2, 2010

Before purchasing this item I read the reviews. Honestly, I was nervous about what to expect. But at just a few dollars it was worth the risk. WHAT A PAY OFF! The tool worked smoothly. I adjusted three watches with absolutely no problems at all, saving myself the $45 I would have spent at the jewelers to get it done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOOL - EASY, EFFECTIVE, INEXPENSIVE, DURABLE. The tool comes with extra tips in case some break. I did not break any at all. I think the only way they would break is by operator error - not lining the tip and the pin up properly and then cranking down too hard. If you have common sense and a good IQ this tool will work GREAT. You will not regret the purchase. If you struggle with either you may want to try the jewelers.
