This set of four stainless steel spatulas in a simple plastic pouch seems like a very good value. Made in Pakistan, they appear to be designed for dental molding applications, but are sold "For Hobby Use Only".

I'm pleasantly surprised at the manufacturing quality -- the blades are thin and smooth, having clean edges with a bit of spring to them. The polished surfaces are quite smooth, and the knurled handles help provide a firm grip. There is a hint of third-world manufacturing, but nothing problematic.

One tool is single ended, three are double-ended, so there are a total 7 different blades on the four tools. They vary in shape and size from a 2" by 3/16" rectangular blade down to a small pointed pick. Four blades are blunt, and three are pointed. Three of the seven blades are slightly curved, the others are flat.

I ordered these to use the long straight blades for removing photos from sticky albums and for peeling off cardboard backings. They seem very well suited to the job. They could also be useful in model making, lab work, jewelry making, ceramics, etc. The stainless surfaces are sharp without being knife-edged, thin enough to slip into small crevices, and smooth enough to avoid scratching and sticking to photos. I can't yet comment on durability, but I'm hopeful they'll last.

I'm very pleased with the set.

It is good for this price. The surface is very well polished.
The size is adequate for regular chemical experiments.

The set I was sent does not match the set that I ordered. Given the cost (relatively low) and time it will take to try and rectify, I will find a way to make use of the incorrect product and not order from them again.

these were delivered to me as pictured in the listing. i love these little things...i use them routinely. now i'm aging, my hands are less steady than once they were. i use these tools whenever i am working with anything miniscule or precise as i can keep a clearer less cluttered view of what i am doing, i can focus on pressing a calm and steadiness to my digits, and i can happily err without fumbling over my fingers to see what i've done...and causing yet greater damage and detriment from my fingers in flight. they are sharp where they ought to be, have a nice balance, and simply are a breeze to work with.

My fiancee wanted these to use in working with old artwork and books at the museum. Unfortunately, the blades of these spatulas are too thick and won't work for what she needs them for. She said they are not truly micro spatulas.
