The SE Sport 300 Hydrofoil is one of the best things I've done for our boat. It's a 2006 Bayliner 185 with the 3.0 Liter. I popped this thing on Friday after buzzing around the lake (only took about a half hour) and used it on Sunday. Wow! what a difference. My wife had to adjust her driving when pulling myself and our son on a wakeboard. It got onto plane so much quicker than before. Then, when running through the chops we used to porpoise a lot. The porpoising affect is just about eliminated with this thing. I highly recommend it. I would not hesitate to purchase it again.

I have had and used different brands of hydrofoils. I like this one better. The cost is great for the performance. For those of you who are thinking of getting one. Try this brand out.

I was very pleased with the ease of installation. I use this on my 23' JC Tritoon with a 150 hp. It does help the boat plane at lower rpm. I do not notice an increase in top end. The boat does steer better coming into my slip. Cavitation in sharp turns is less than before. Works great.

I have a 19' Javelin bass boat. Originally had 175 hp engine but the person I bought the boat from had changed it to a 200 hp mercury. With the heavier engine my boat was a nightmare to trim out and porpoising was terrible. I installed the SE 300 and what a difference! Hits plane in seconds, porpoising is gone, and the boat will stay on plane at a much lower speed now. Do not know if it hurt the top end because I have not had this boat flat out ( it's a wife thing ) but at 60 mph with plenty of throttle left the boat is rock solid and turns like a Corvette. For me this was the perfect solution to my problems, your experience may be different but if you are experiencing any of these problems this is a very affordable solution. Did not use the clip, bolted directly to the engine because I have no intention of ever taking it off. I am absolutely thrilled with this product.

It is not often when you read an items packaging and see all of the spectacular claims the manufacturer makes and then actually have them happen! Well, this is the exception! After a quick 15 min. installation (drilling 4 holes which was very easy)the SE sport was ready. The first time I took my boat out with the SE sport on, I could immediately feel the difference in the hole shot. The next thing that totally threw me, is I could no longer determine the point at which the boat got on plain, its like there was no change only a smooth constant rise in speed and engine RPM...weird but at the same time awesome. I usually feel the boat bow down then the rpm will drop, but no longer, its like the motor no longer struggles to accelerate, this really does what it says! FYI I have a 20 ft. proline walkaround with a Mercury 150 Optimax, with hydraulic trim tabs that I no longer need. Should have got the SE sport first!
