Unless you intend to be in the watch repair business, this tool kit is a steal!! Wanted to change the battery on my Fossil watch; had no idea how to do it (has a funky back, not an easy pop-off). Watched a You Tube video...showed all the tools needed. Looked up watch kit on amazon...found this, exactly the items I needed, and bing, bang, boom, in 15 minutes and only 10 dolllars later for 2 batteries my watches were up and running again. It would have cost me $25-$30 for one battery at the repair shop, so for that amount of money, I can keep doing it myself. For those who claim "it broke the first time I used it", you must have been trying to change a tire instead of a battery.

I needed to re-adjust my watch but didn't want to pay $20 to a watch jeweler so I instead decided to pay $11.21 for this kit(current price at the time with free ship from prime)

    Pros:
Plenty of tools that can come in handy (was able to get the job done)
Not too expensive (roughly ten bucks)

    Cons:
Poor quality tools (One of my tools broke after one use, but you get what you pay for. It didn't bother me as much since they provided spares for this part.)
No instructions (There are videos, tutorials, and websites)

Even though the tools are poor quality, they are able to get the job done and its cheaper than going to a jeweler to do it (In most cases). You may not know what you are doing at first but after you do a little reading you'll be done within 20 minutes.

For many years I had watches with long wrist bands. With this tool kit I was able to change the length of the bands and also change the batteries. A great buy for the price. Will the took kit last? I don't know. It works for me so far.

    I paid $9.45

Everything works and everything is on the cheap side, which is what I expected. It is good to work on a few watches but not for professional watch repairing.

The screwdrivers did not fit into most watch screws I tried them on.

The watch pin removers bend easily, like all generic watch pin removers you will find, but they will work and can take a good amount of pressure before bending. The bands I used them on were solid stainless steel 22mm.

The tweesers work but are cheap metal, not high grade stainless by any means but fine if you only need to work on a few watches.

The spring bar remover tool had one of its teeth damaged from the first spring bar I removed with it. It still works but I can tell it wont last for more than maybe 10 spring bars.. fine if you only need to work on a few watches.

The case remover should not be used for high end luxary watches, as if you slip you can mar the case back which is not good. A 3-prong remover would be ideal.

The case knife is decent but not as good as an old high carbon pocket knife.

The watch band holder works, as does the plastic link remover with the handle.

The hammer and pliers will hold up for a long time.

So in conclusion, great price to work on a few watches, resizing bands on a high end watch, or replacing a battery on a cheaper sports watch you wouldn't mind scratching the back of. But if you plan on doing 50 you already know you need a better kit.

    Hope that helps!

This tool kit came with everything shown. I have seen a lot of reviews mention about not having any instructions on how to use the tools I thought it would be a problem as I have never had to adjust a watchband before, however a quick search on youtube pulled up many videos that showed how to use the tools that came in this kit. Very easy to use. I had my watchband links taken out and the watch was on my wrist in just under 10 minutes. This kit has already paid for itself with that one watchband adjustment. I am looking forward to changing the batteries in several of my watches next. This tool kit came with no case but I they store easily in the box they came in inside of a strong plastic ziploc bag, which works fine for me.

The picture of the tools is inconsistent with what I got!! The ones I got are very flimsy. The two tips of the wrench were chipped off during the first several attempts of opening my watch. And the tips easily slipped off the dents on the back case of my watch. The wrist band opener is rusted and fragile. I bet it will get broken sooner or later. The sturdiest one seems to be the case opener knife. Generally, unless you are good even with flimsy tools, I would never recommend you buying these. I got my watches' back some deep scratches, and now I have to look for another reliable tools. It's really frustrating.

a must have for anybody with a watch. It has everything you need to open any watch and add/remove links in the band. My jeweler was charging my $35 to change battery and remove one link.

The contents of the package sent to me do NOT look anything like the pic shown on the amazon website.
It had various bits and pieces of various colors packed into 2 ziplock bags, I suspect this must have been a customer return which should have NEVER been sent out to me.
