Anchor appears to be well made, seems to be a good price point. I like the fact that that the Ring will slide back to the anchor head if the anchor gets stuck on the bottom when attempting to retrieving it.

My home built "Old Shoe" needed an anchor, and a coffee can full of concrete was an option my wife rejected. This light weight anchor fills the bill to a "T". It is sturdy, practical, and no uglier than my boat. It arrived when expected and was in perfect condition. It has more than enough holding power to keep me safely attached to the bottom among the white caps in 20 knot winds using 10 feet of chain and a 5 to 1 scope. My sailing is confined to a large TVA lake.
