Joan M. Battilana is a wife, mother, and grandmother. All her life she has known she was adopted. Joan was born in Farmington, NM to a single, young mother who placed her up for adoption. A loving couple that had so much to give adopted Joan and raised her as their own. After her fortieth birthday she decided to take a journey and search to her beginning. Her search ended happily in a reunion with her birth family.
