I had one of these alarm security signs in front of my home that was placed by the builder. The sign is just under 1 feet in length and is mounted on a 30 inch aluminum stake. The sign is made of hard plastic and the colors and words on the sign did not fade since its use (which is over 15 years). After a big snow storm this winter, the sign broke off because of the weight from the ice and snowfall. So I looked for a similar replacement and saw this item which appeared to be the same design. I did not purchase from this site, but I got the same item from another seller at a lower price. The sign is very sturdy and should last for many years.

I just received this sign today. It is REALLY nice. I am very impressed with it - it is definitely commercial grade. The sign (along with the decals) are very convincing and hopefully, make would-be thieves think twice. (I actually do have a complete system with multiple sirens, motion detectors, vibration sensors & auto-dialer backing up the sign and decals.) After seeing the quality of the sign I will definitely order another one for the rear of my home.

Other than paying $35/mo and up for a monitored security service, a real looking sign is the number one suggestion of our local Police Department. Almost all thiefs and bad guys will move on when they thind a house is monitored. (If I am home and they see it, they are already in my sights!)

This is a quality sign & post that will last a very long time. I strongly recommend it.

we bought a home security system & it didn't come w/ a sign so we ordered this & it is a good sturdy sign, I read reviews about some that were junk.
