Gives off pretty good heat... gel fuel hard to find except online... amazon has the lowest price by far... raises room temp in small room by 7-8 degrees. paint finish on fireplace not the greatest but nice.

Really nice looking.I was amazed by the heat it actually gives out.We installed it in the basement next to the pool table.Everybody loves it who walks downstairs.Gel last about 2 1/2 - 3 hours .Contemporary piece that definitely sets the mood of having a good conversation with friends/partner and a glass of wine.

We bought this for our very modern dining room and everone just LOVES it!! I will say it is one of the cheaper ones and the craftmenship is not amazing. The first one we got the edges were not completely flush and my boyfriend being the perfectionist that he is, was no happy with it, So we called amazon to send it back and get a new one. Note to buyer, these are considered "hazardous" and are not returnable. So amazon sent us a brand new one FREE, and we got to keep the old (which we put in our bathroom over the tub). Overall we are very happy and think it was a great buy.
