If you need something smaller and elegant in a dark black finish, this is a great desk. It shows as it is in the picture and comfortably fits our desk top and large flat screen monitor. You will need more room, though if you have a printer or other accessories with your desk top (though if you have a lap top, it should be fine).

they finally fixed the listing, when i ordered i received this one when it was listed a a 3 drawer. luckily amazon stood behind their products and sent me a more expensive one for the same price. The 2 drawer one, which I did assemble, had several wear spots and did not apprer to be quality made.

If you need something smaller and elegant in a dark black finish, this is a great desk. It shows as it is in the picture and comfortably fits our desk top and large flat screen monitor. You will need more room, though if you have a printer or other accessories with your desk top (though if you have a lap top, it should be fine).

If you're wondering about the color, it is just a shade above black, but darker than how I would describe espresso. It went well with a shelf I had from IKEA that was described as espresso. It is a flat finish (vs. wood grainy like some pieces).

Assembly is incredibly quick and easy. I did it myself in less than 10 minutes. The desk is plenty sturdy. If you like the look and are looking for the color I described, then go for it.

Don't even hesitate about buying this table. It is beautiful and it looks very nice in any room. I love it. It make you really want to work all the time. Plus it was well packed and I received it just on time. Go ahead, get yours!

It arrived 2 days earlier that expected...Opened the box...screwed in the legs...and I have a beautiful desk...Just the size I wanted and no problems with shipping...assembly...or discription...
The only bad part is the large box I have to put out for the trash man :)

Drawers broke within 5 minutes of assembly. The drawer rails are made of a cardboard type material that basically fell apart. The drawer uides are cheap plastic that are stapled on. I know I shouldnt expect much out of a $180 desk but certainly more than this!!

I was looking for a small desk for my psychotherapy office with two drawers and I found this which is just perfect! The desk is a black/expresso with a gorgeous satin finish. I put it together in a matter of minutes and I just love it. It's a great buy and quality product!
