If you have a teenager, you're no doubt heard this song on the radio. It speaks to the vanity of today's youth, and is funny as heck.

The only reason I heard this song was because I was going with my brother to his doctor's appointment. We share radio time. It was his turn to find some music. Then this song started playing.
I've never heard a song like this one before. It made me want to pull a 'Thelma & Louise' and slit my wrists with a dull razor at the same time. The music is catchy for about 1/2 a second. It ends up being drowned out by 'valley girl' dialogue and lyrics that made me feel more brain dead that Frankenstein's monster. I can't believe this is the music we're being subjected to. If this is what's being played over the radio waves by the second, no wonder our future generation already looks like the 'Walking Dead'.
My opinion. The song is ridiculous.

I have to say I do find the song amusing. The "selfie" has taken the world of social media by storm...what's next...the apocalypse?

I’m pretty sure this is one of those “I like it now but in a year… not so much.” I’m enjoying it at the moment though, and for a buck I think the price is right.

Of course keeping with the trends, had to download this song. There is a parody of d*ck pic that is entertaining as well

This song is tons of fun...it has a sort of 80s Valley Girl feel!

I listen to it while I'm trucking across country, it wakes me up, keeps me laughing and helps assure that I don't fall asleep at the wheel and crash into a bridge embankment or something...Thanks-a-million Chainsmokers!

This song is so much fun! It always makes me laugh. If you don't like this song, you are probably uptight, sorry. Enjoy the silliness and relish in the shenanigans.

The line where the girl says:

How did that girl even get in here?
Did you see her?
She's so short and that dress is so tacky
Who wears cheetah?

Means what? Short people should not go clubbing? Are they referring to "Snooki" because she likes "cheetah" and she is "short?" The press got away with making fun of her because she was short. I noticed it is okay to make fun of short people and still accepted these days. It should not be acceptable, but some always have to get away with making fun of people in some way. Height is one of the last ways which people have not been called out on, and told it is not good to discriminate or mock.
How about they leave out this biased line? What would people say if they said something about how she should not be in the club because of another physical reason? Its rude and shallow. Perhaps that is the kind of intent they were getting across. I know the song was meant to be fun, but it is never fun to believe someone should be excluded because of their physical appearance. We let things go because they are meant to be fun, but it is simply spreading ignorance.
