I've always thought that SEO had to be super complex and confusing. Thankfully, while researching the topic further, I came across this wonderful book.

The author clearly has a great deal of experience and he does an amazing job of breaking down a potentially overwhelming topic and making it accessible to the layperson, step by step.

I've just gotten started with Google Analytics and the author helped me understand just how much more I can get from the system if I use it correctly. For instance, I had no idea that it can track whether any of the traffic to my site is coming from my social media accounts! That alone was worth the price of the book for me.

I also really appreciated how the author clearly defined White-Hat and Gray-Hat techniques and discussed the implications involved with the Gray-Hat methods. Those of us who are SEO newbies might not understand why something is considered Gray-Hat versus White-Hat and without the author's help I may have inadvertently made a SEO mistake that really would have hurt me.

This book has proved to be just what I needed to give me all the information I need without being overwhelming. I definitely recommend it to any SEO newbie.

As a blogger, I know how important search engine optimization is to get traffic to your website. Literally anyone who has an online presence has to consider SEO strategies if they want their endeavor to be successful. There are plenty of SEO pro's out there, but they are usually very expensive and, in my opinion, they don't really do anything that you can't learn to do yourself for free. That's why I love this book. It teaches all the strategies and tactics that SEO professionals use in a way that is easy to understand for those of us who weren't computer science majors. I have already started to implement many of these strategies on my blog (www.raysofrossi.com) and I thank the author for this wonderful advice!

I’m a newcomer to the SEO world (brand-new business owner here). The whole idea can be overwhelming to think about, let alone learn to master. This is the second book by ¬¬Adams on SEO and I highly recommend you go back to the first one before reading here. Unless you already have a basic understanding of SEO, this book will leave you behind. And Adams tells you that on page one. There is some rehashing, but there really isn’t much. It’s a completely different course that assumes its audience has a certain knowledge base to begin with.

That said, there are a lot of great resources and step-by-step guides in this book. Adams touches on multiple methods of SEO from link chains to social media. And he explains how to start and develop each of those. Each section begins with an overview of what you’ll learn. Then you move on to learning about various tools you have as options (he never promotes just one tool). Finally you see how to use each tool from start to finish.

The advice can work for any niche. Mine is very small for sure and I’m seeing a lot of potential in the ideas Adams shares. These are not easy tasks, and he doesn’t pretend that they are. But they are easy enough to get started with. If you don’t start now, you’ll just have a bigger learning curve later on when your website has more traffic and you have more responsibilities. It’s best to start learning SEO when you’re new to the game. It’s a complicated, ever-changing world; learning the lingo and basics early on means that your website has the best chance of success.

One thing Adams doesn’t do is promise overnight success. He points out that all of the techniques that would accomplish that are likely to get you in trouble with Google in just as little time.

The undisputed King of search engines is Google and the law of Google is SEO. In “SEO Strategies & Tactics from The SEO University: Course #2” author R.L. Adams attempts to pull back the curtain on this mysterious force and reveal how in Oz someone may be able to understand Search Engine Optimization navigation in what he calls today’s Web 3.0 environment.

The second lesson in an online course, R.L. Adams builds upon the foundations laid with Course #1, “SEO Fundamentals.” After reading through this second offering, I know I am going to go back and flush out my knowledge with the first lesson – a piece of advice that the author gives you in the first few paragraphs. Often, with eBooks or online courses, this advice is trivial, a tidbit meant to increase sales or importance – not so in this case. Those fundamentals are necessary to really understand this guide, even if you walk into it with previous knowledge and experience with SEO concepts. He refers back to his previous work often, building on the lessons there to increase understanding and comprehension within these pages. All that said, even if the advice to take the Course in its entirety is overlooked, or like my case, this is the first book you stumbled upon – there is value to be gleaned in its pages.
