4.0 out of 5 stars A Decent Set of Brushes
I purchased Sephora's Antibacterial Brush Set (Not the Deluxe, mine only came with 5 brushes) a while back and have really put them to good use. I have sensitive skin so I have to really keep up with washing them. The antibacterial spray really helps with this and keeps my skin looking clear :) I'd eventually like to upgrade to better brushes (ones with more...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good quality brushes
I've been doing research on brushes for a while now and this set seemed like a good investment as my first set of brushes. They were attractive, had a mid range price tag, came in a convenient pouch and contained most of the essentials.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good quality brushes, May 31, 2008
I've been doing research on brushes for a while now and this set seemed like a good investment as my first set of brushes. They were attractive, had a mid range price tag, came in a convenient pouch and contained most of the essentials.

I wasn't too impressed after my purchase so I returned them a day later.

Pros (+) and Cons (-):
1. There was a plastic-y smell to the set. (-)
2. The brushes were made of synthetic fibers which were definitely soft. (+)
3. I guess one thing that turned me off of these brushes was the "antibacterial" aspect. There is no information specifying what chemicals were used. (-)
4. This was a personal thing, but I would have liked a blush brush and an angeled eye-liner/brow brush to be included in this set. (-)

I thought it was a good set of starter brushes for the price, but it just didn't fit into what I wanted.

Worth the price!

4.0 out of 5 stars great for travel, February 2, 2011

I didn't think I'd like nor use this set as much as I do...but you know what? They're soft, they're convenient, they're synthetic (bonus for sensitive skin and/or those concerned with the ethics of using animal hair), they deposit nicely, and fit in my purse. I wish they'd have thrown a blush brush in there, though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bought this for my daughter as a Christmas gift, January 31, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
She had this on her wish list. At first I thought this was a bit pricey, but I bought it anyway, I knew she really wanted it. My daughter is a big fan of Sephora products and she is thrilled with the Sephora Deluxe Antibacterial Brush Set. According to my daughter who is using the product just about every day, it gets the 5 stars.
I was happy with the quality of the product and the case is very nice.

This is a very good brush set for the money. The brushes are of good quality. I like the fact that they are made with an alternative to animal hair and are antibacterial. The brushes work well and feel very soft against the skin. My only complaint is that there's no blush brush included in the set, which seems like a major oversight. Regardless, I am still happy with this purchase.
