These are good solid plain drinking glasses, just what I wanted. They are just right for adult hands. They are stable with reasonably thick glass. They were just like I expected and am very pleased with them. We've had them a week and not broken one yet, my last glasses were smaller on the bottom, with thin glass and would tip over in the sink and break.

i misread the description and thought these glasses were heavier all around. They are not. Only the base is thicker. They still crack easier than "thick" glasses and topple. They are large, hold an ample amount and at a nice price, would still recommend.

These glasses aren't going to change your life but they are a great set of glasses for the money. They are not thick clunkers like some of the restaurant style glasses of the same size. The base is moderately thick and the lip is a nice medium thickness - which I like.

I like the fact that they are rather compact for the 20 oz size but don't taper so they hold a maximum amount of drink.

My shipment arrived on time and I had no broken glasses. I am pleased with this purchase.
