Cracked,
This review is from: SET OF 4 ~ Bed & Furniture 3" Risers (Kitchen)
Well, they look like they would have been sturdy, but one of them arrived cracked, which is discouraging given how much weight they claim to hold/ how durable they are supposed to be!

I've tried to set my bed up on these three times now and it keeps tipping over. They don't work.

Woke up to a big noise when the bed leg/wheel broke right through!,
By Vaness "Just a normal consumer" (North Carolina) - See all my reviews
This review is from: SET OF 4 ~ Bed & Furniture 3" Risers (Kitchen)
We bought a set of these about 7 months ago and all was well until we woke up one morning to a very loud noise. My husband thought we were having an earthquake and the dog was barking from alarm! It turned out that the leg/wheel of our bed had broken clean through one of the risers. Suddenly our bed was on a big tilt. Just to note, we are of average weight so it wasn't a factor in the break. Well, I can tell you that we won't buy another set of these! Obviously, these are not strong enough unless you have a twin size bed with only one person sleeping on it. Take note to the company that made them: you need to improve your product because people are wasting their money on your product!

surprisingly efficient,

The risers gave my bed perfect height. I even got a bed skirt to suit the new length. Makes bed sound a bit creaky though...

Worked great for us!!,

My husband and I used these for about 2 years. We some how lost the wheels to our bed frame and needed to store things under the bed. These were perfect. Only reason I gave them 4 stars in stead of 5 is our bed skirt was off the floor about a half inch. But no biggie we loved the height and the sturdiness. To bad the other reviewers had such bad luck, ours never cracked or tipped over. We use a queen size bed and box spring and we probably weigh 380 together...We just recently purchased a new platform bed so we gave these to a friend. They haven't had any complaints.

Waste of Time and Money,

I went through two sets of these and both sets failed. The problem with this product is no structural support in the construction of the risers. After a few weeks, the riser cracks and the frame legs go right through the riser. Its just a sheet of plastic that keeps the bed up; the body of the riser is totally hollow.
If these risers were made of solid wood they'd work fine. But don't even both with this product.

Plastic bed risers,

I was excited to lift our bed higher, these are dangerous. I took apart our Cal King, and put 6 of these under the legs. Kinda finicky to set up, one falls and 4 seem to go...so I finally get them all set. I adjust the mattress and smash they all go down again....They are junk plain and simple. God help if you have a cat and its under there.

Not attractive...but add height to your bed and give the gift of storage space beneath,

You can add quite a bit of storage to your bedroom with bed lifts. This is one of the simplest and most painless techniques for adding organized space to your life.
*Underbed storage is challenging* We have a combination sort of bed - it's a futon frame, with a big futon, and then a foot-deep foam layer, followed by an amazingly thick feather mattress (I found this bit of luxury for only 30 dollars at Goodwill). This bed is as far from a boring futon as you can get! We call this bed a `nest' and we sleep like the dead. :) Storage-wise, there's very little room under a futon frame. We did use a thin underbed plastic bin, but pretty much we just jammed whatever would fit in there, making organization challenging and retrieval most difficult. *A bed lift was in order* We wanted the highest possible bed lifts. There are nice wooden ones, made in various stains to match your bed's actual wood, if it has a wood frame. We saw those kinds in Bed, Bath and Beyond, four for $20. We did want something to add more inches, though, and we didn't want to have to buy two kits, since a futon frame has six legs instead of the usual four. We settled on a set of plastic bed lifts made by Bed, Bath and Beyond themselves. They are black polypropylene, four for only $10. We were able to buy two separate lifts at $2.50 each so we could have our six bed supports. These lifts added five inches to our bed! We were even able to crawl under our bed and organize things. This actually, along with our multitudes of mattresses, brings our little nest up to normal bed height, which I appreciate. I like getting down off my bed, rather than having to "get up" to get up in the morning. Think how much extra room this would provide to a regular (ie - non-futon) bed that is already reasonably off the ground! *What to do with all that extra space* Best categories of things for the under bed space include items you don't need to access on a daily basis: * out of season clothes - especially the bulky stuff * picnic items * sleeping bags, tents and other camping gear * extra blankets, extra pillows * extra first aid supplies or excess toiletries in a bin (this is very useful if your home, like mine, lacks a linen closet) * guest linens * dog grooming supplies in a basket * ready-to-grab Disaster Planning Kit or any emergency supplies The black casters we used are not incredibly attractive, so you might be happier with the wooden ones that are available. My solution - add a bed skirt, craft some cute leg skirting yourself, or just make sure you have long bed blankets that drape down and hide the legs. It's very worth it to us, to have this extra usable space in our tiny apartment! If we could have found bed lifts made of recycled plastic content, this product would have been even better.

I returned this item the next day after I got it. They were very big and from the picture I thought they would be smaller. After I put them under the bed legs they would tip over. It might work for you but they didn't for me. I am still waiting on a refund.
