50 Pregnancy Tests individually wrapped One Step HCG Urine Test is a rapid one step pregnancy test, which you can easily carry out yourself. It detects the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), which appears in urine very early during pregnancy. HOW DOES IT WORK? Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone, produced by the developing placenta shortly after the conception and secreted into the urine. The pregnancy test contains antibodies which specifically react with this hormone. To use the test strip, simply fill a container with urine and dip the test strip in the container in a vertical position. Your results appear within five minutes. This test is capable of detecting human chorionic gonadotropin or hCG (a hormone present in women's urine during pregnancy) at levels of just 15 mIU/ml/hCG. That means you can begin testing accurately as early as six to eight days after conception - well before your first missed period! If you are fertility charting, and you know your ovulation date, you may begin testing as early as 7-10 DPO (days past ovulation) when the hCG level in urine will, on average, reach 15 mIU/ml. We recommend using a first-morning urine sample as this will contain the highest concentration of hCG. I ordered these tests a few few weeks ago. I'm 8 days past ovulation so i just started taking them to see if ill get an early bfp since these are 15 mui. Every test i have taken gets smudgy and pink, but after completely dried the test gets white. Well today i took a test and at 10 mins i checked it (it said read by 15 mins but not after 15 mins). Well the test was smudy pink again and as it dried i got a faint smudy pink line that i can not tell if it is positive or not. I cant even tell where the positive line should be. This line is not too far from the tip you dip in the urine. So i am very confused.
