Let's face it, if you are going to put on a suit coat and a nice dress shirt you want to look nice and you obviously care about your appearance. These metal stays make your shirt and collar look sharp and first class. I put together a short video to show what they look like and what's in the package. I rated them at 5 stars.
I was supplied with a sample for test and evaluation and I promised a fair and honest review.
They do work. Problem is they have sharp unfinished edges. For a cheap shirt, fine. But there is no way I would put them into one of my nicer ones.
No problems with shipping, they arrived as stated.
Note: I purchases the mixed size set as I own a variety of shirt brands and styles. I am happy with the selection of sizes and I use most of them.
Pros: It works as advertise. It is smooth and has a fine finish along the edges, so you won't damage your shirts. You need to know what your typical shirt collar stay length is. My were all 2.5".
Cons: I know stainless steel, 430, can rust, however, it should still be cleanable. I can't tell if this is real 430 or not, but yes, rust should still be able to cleaned off. I threw one out because it was heavily rusted and didn't want my shirts to be dirtied or damaged. I do have another one that is rusting too. You can't clean it off too well. I haven't even washed my shirts with the collar stays, so I don't know why it would rust either. It could be because of humidity; I live below-grade. You can see the images I've uploaded for the rust on the collar stay.
Other thoughts: I had these for half a year and am still using it. I prefer these over plastic ones because they bend over time or snap in half. I should have gotten the mixed sizes, just because not every shirt is the same. I haven't had a problem yet, but I don't wash my shirts with the collar stay and I don't put the collar stays on until I wear them. I actually just need like 2 pairs. Hence, why I should have gotten mixed sizes, it would have been more than enough to cover a wide range of shirt collar stay lengths for me. I leave my collar stays on my drawer top and not in the case. I rarely write reviews, but this was just a problem that I saw and hope others will take notice in it too. I had some trouble with another Sharkk product and the representative did help me with it. Sharkk does have good customer service and good products, in my opinion.Read more ›

These are great. I've bought them like 8x already. The only thing that I don't like is I use the smallest size only and there's only 2 pairs. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Os
They are nice, but be aware that you will receive ALL of the same size. Even that is clearly described, there is a picture with several sizes that mislead the purchase decisionPublished 5 months ago by Rodrigo Mainou
