We get a lot of comments on how big our TV is. (I am not compensating for anything either!) We haven't had any problems with our TV. The only thing that bothers me is the low humming of the DLP module, but it is only noticeable when the volume is low. The picture is great, not distorted due to the size. Very "Bad" TV
Nice TV design ,BUT it starts off with a humming noise, then it gets louder and louder, also after about 4ms it's starts to crack and make loud noises when you turn it off, and these are problems no one has a fix for. do some reseach on this TV before you buy it, NOT GOOD.

The delivery company brought it right to the door, and set up was simple. Don't be afraid to buy this big of a TV online. It is awesome for watching the outdoor channel.
1/1/11 Not sure if you can by this modle any more. Our color wheel went out, (the color wheel is the cause of the low humming noise) I have found it to ba a common problem for this TV. Type 65DR650 into a google search and you will find mostly posts looking for replcement color wheel. The color wheel is not available seperatly from a sharp dealer. It is only avialble as part of the light engine. $1200 dollars from a Sharp dealer. Bottom line: Junk - I will not buy another Sharp product the rest of my life. |
