Book Description

“They called her ‘faeling’ and Willow ran.
She isn’t running anymore.
Half-human, half-Fae, Willow Lang has never felt she truly fit in either world, but she’s doing her best to ignore her Fae nature and focus on her work as an art restorer at a museum in New York City. Then she accepts a job restoring classic paintings in Ireland and finds herself in the middle of a conflict between the Seelie Fae and the evil Dark Fae. In order to protect the Human world, she must embrace her Fae powers.

But that’s not the only challenge Willow faces. Roland Omren, a handsome gypsy, is vying for her affection. The hunky Fae Breslyn, Prince of Dagda, is trying to seduce her. And then there’s her mysterious boss, Shayne Bantry…

It is quite a ride…

EXCERPT: My name—Willow Lang. So much has happened that
you need to know, so I will start at the beginning—but
first, I’ll give you some stats.
How I got to the ripe old age of twenty-three and still
remained sane is beyond me. Maybe I’m not sane. I have
been told that my pale blonde, very thick, very long hair
catches the eye. Eyes? Mine are violet. Come on, you say,
but yes, they are violet, like the flower. That is an accident
of birth—I take no credit for it.
I stand about five foot three in my stocking feet, and I
have a really good figure. Now, please don’t think I am
being immodest. I am not, because in spite of all that, I
know, have always known, I am a freak!
Let me explain...

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE this series!!! February 26, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
It is official! I am addicted to this series! It has been a long time since I have found a fae series I can actually immerse myself in and with this one, I have jumped in with both feet. I have read two in three days. I can not help myself. They are that good. While this one had some carry over characters and a continuing story arc from Spellbound - Legend, it also introduces a whole cast of new characters. Once again, I felt like I really understood these character thanks to the amazing voice the author uses in her writing. This is not a series where we see the same couples coming together, facing tragedies and adversity and then after four or five books, finally coming together. That made me happy :). I felt like the main story arc of good vs evil that began in the first book made some nice progression and left me wanting to know what was next. I enjoyed the love stories, especially that of the Ete. It was nice to see her grow into a more central character in this book. I will, without a doubt, be reading the next book ASAP. I am so glad I listened to my friend and started reading this author/series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thrilling and Sexy Ride! May 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
WOW! Just finished this and I've got a lot of thoughts so I'll just get right to it....

This book picked up where book 1 left off, with the Unseelie Fae and their leader Gaisioch poised to enter and take over the human world and destroy both humans and the Seelie Fae. My favorite fae, Prince Breslyn made another appearance in this story and was his usual sexy self. The main character is Willow, half fae half human, a girl with an identity crisis because she identifies more with her human side. Fae children scorned her and now she is determined to have nothing to do with them. But when the war with the Unseelie's lands on her doorstep, she really has no choice.

One thing that the blurb of this book may have you thinking, is that this is a love triangle (or even quadrangle), and it may appear that way in the first few chapters. However, it soon becomes clear that Roland, while handsome, is not even close to being a contender for Willow's heart though he does play a crucial and mysterious role in the story. Breslyn, who is usually drawn to human women, is more involved with the beautiful Fae Ete, who has loved him her whole life. I loved watching him struggle with his princely honor as he tries to resist Ete, who he feels is too young and inexperienced. He does not want to hurt her. He struggles between his love of human women and his feelings for Ete which come slamming into him full force in this story. While there's is kind of a sidestory there were times when Breslyn and Ete's story shined through to center stage for me and I found myself more engrossed with them than with Willow and the third man rounding out the equation....Shyane Bantry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shee Willow is a Joyfully Recommended Read November 23, 2011
By M. Nix
Format:Kindle Edition
Willow Lang is part of two worlds - she is half human and half Fae. But bad experiences while she was a teen caused Willow to decide to all but ignore the Fae part of her blood. Now she loves her job restoring art but she feels pretty lost and lonely, not sure she belongs in either world. When Willow is offered a chance to travel to Ireland and work on restoring a private art collection, she jumps at it. After all, her job will be waiting for her so what was there for her to lose?

Shayne Bantry is a Squire and he collects and sales antiques. But that isn't all - he is also a high Druid priest. But that isn't all - he is also a high Druid priest sworn to uphold the ancient Fae rites. Believing that the Fae have wronged him, Shayne has stopped his duties. He hired Willow to work on his art collection, so why is he worried about his heart? Love isn't something Shayne believes he can give anyone, at least not until find the pieces of a Fae relic mask. Not the easiest task to accomplish when the person he asked to help him search is suddenly throwing out false leads.

Willow is suddenly tossed into a whirlwind of intrigue and danger along with potential erotic passion from more than one front - the Squire, the Fae Prince and the handsome gypsy. The strangest thing is Willow suddenly seems to have lots of Fae attention - from both the Seelie and the Unseelie. Shayne is trying to fight his intense attraction to Willow and because of his actions, she doesn't know what to believe about him. Even more confusing, Prince Breslyn has suddenly reappeared into Willow's life, yet he doesn't know her, and stranger yet is the mysterious winged Daoine Sidhe who seems to be protecting her.

Shee Willow -- Legend

Half Fae And Half Human, Willow Lang Felt She Didn't Fit In Anywhere As The Fae Didn't Accept Her And Called Her Names. At Least She Could Pretend She Was Human And Mingle With Them. But What If She Married A Human And Their Children Obtained Fae Powers? Willow Decided To Concentrate On Her Studies And Was Hired As An Restorer Of Ancient Art In New York. She Was Quite Good And Shayne Bantry Flew All The Way From Ireland To Hire Her To Restore His Massive Art Collection, But No Sooner As She Arrived Than She Saw An Unseely Fae, A Beast So Ugly That She Wondered Why He Was In Full Glamour And Followed Him.

Shayne Bantry Had To Have Willow Close As He Was Captivated By Her White Blond Hair And Sparking Purple Eyes. He Was Besotted With Her And Jealous Of Any Man Near Her. He Had Bedded Plenty Of Women And None Had Made Him Do Goofy Things Nor Had He Invited Them Into His Home! He Was A Dealer In Antiques And Amassed A Fortune And Hated The Fae With A Passion After What Was Done To Him, But He Hoped To Find The Remaining Two Relic Pieces Of A Fae Mask To Help Him.

Claudy Conn Pens Book Two Of The Series And Introduced Willow Whose Powers Were Needed With The War Against Good And Evil, Gais Meant To Open A Huge Hole In The Wall Between Humans And Fae To Rule Them Both With An Iron Fist!
