Fresh off the release of her second album ('Romance 1600") and off of her appearance in the movie Krush Groove this concert was released in 1986.

The live concert from San Francisco showcases Sheila's skill as a performer, percussionist and singer. The show kicks into high gear showing Sheila rock the stage with "Sister Fate" and "Erotic City". The latter was a b-side to a single by singer Prince (Who makes a cameo w/the Revolution at the end for a show-stopping performance with Sheila on 'A Love Bizzare). Sheila also jams to "Holly Rock" and "The Glamorous Life".

"The Glamorous Life" performance includes one of her funky drum solos with the lights out and glow in the dark drumsticks!! Sheila was known as a shy musician but her role as the leading lady here serves her well. Another performance of "escargo" features a percussion jam with her father and brother.

This video will please the casual fan with an interest in her work and Sheila's biggest fans. It also gives you a rare look at Sheila E. the artist who was also a in demand session performer appearing on albums by George Duke, Confunkshun, Stacey Lattisaw, Ringo Starr, Lionel Richie and of course Prince. Grab this video while you can!

"Sheila E. Live" was the best video to watch. She is the best drummer I've seen in a long time and this video proves it. The video is playful showing her very talanted and funny side. Prince and the Revolution make an appearance at the end for the song "The Glamorus Life".
