I love this pen.
I just realized it; and I can't believe I haven't reviewed this great pen. Now I prefer the fine point for fine point for personal reasons only. These pens are great and for a great price. The quality of the writing and the pen itself is fantastic. If you are looking for something along the lines of fountain pen in this product, I suggest the xtra fine, and fine point...

New Style Pen- Not so great
I have used Sheaffer pens (manufactured by Bic- fyi) for years and am very disappointed in the new design. The "cut out" for the ink level is in a bad location. It causes difficulty when trying to make certain letters if your nib is not lined up correctly, your pen may slip if your hand is over this HOLE and the edges are sharp. I don't understand the need for a HOLE to...

I have used Sheaffer pens (manufactured by Bic- fyi) for years and am very disappointed in the new design. The "cut out" for the ink level is in a bad location. It causes difficulty when trying to make certain letters if your nib is not lined up correctly, your pen may slip if your hand is over this HOLE and the edges are sharp. I don't understand the need for a HOLE to view ink levels. Why not a transparent barrell? I have fairly small hands and the hole cuts into my hand with every letter. I recommend changing brands

The quality of the writing and the pen itself is fantastic. If you are looking for something along the lines of fountain pen in this product, I suggest the xtra fine, and fine point nib. This pen is GREAT! Although; If u plan on using it a lot, make sure you get a pack or 2 of refill cartriges, because the ink doesn't last as long as one might think. Yet this pen is great for anyone that uses caligraphy and fountain type pens. 2 thumps up from me. :)
