I got tired of taking my clothes to the dry cleaners after every wearing. I live in south Texas, where most of the year it is warm enough to require this, specially when you are over 60. I used to use under arm shields when I modeled many years ago. I began a search for them and was so pleased to have found them on Amazon. These dress shields work very well, are comfortable and pay for themselves many times over. They are easy to launder, are very light and comfortable to wear. The straps, worn on your shoulders over your bra straps, do not show. They are well made. I am so happy to have them.

Although the dress shields help with my excessive sweating they still do not keep my clothing dry. The shields need more absorbing padding.

These things are difficult to place in clothing and do not stay in place. I ordered drysol off of Amazon and now I have no need for shields.

Try as I might, I couldn't figure how to attach this to a bra. How crazy is that. I decided to stick with the disposable type.

Yes, this is what I have been searching for. I tend to sweat alot and by me sweating it causes my shirts to become stained with deodorant as well as huge wet spots under my arms. With these, I am able to keep the wet spots down to a minimum and my shirts stay fresher. A good buy.

I a while back I had a beautiful silk blouse which was totally ruined by sweat stains. I could not get it back to looking like new even after the dry cleaner. I had to wear this beautiful blouse only covered by a jacket to hide the sides that I ruined while dancing in it. Ever since then I began wearing underarm shields with expensive silk blouses. It prevents stains and saves me money so I don't have to take them the dry cleaner every time I wear the shirt.

There are several different kinds of underarm shields. The ones that attach to the clothing and the ones that attach to the bra. They can be disposable or not (those have to laundered between uses). The disposable ones though in principle are more convenient have several minuses which are deal breakers for me. The most annoying is that the material they are made of makes crinkling sound announcing to everyone that you are wearing underarm protection. Ok, perhaps, not everyone notices the sound but it makes you self conscious about it. The second drawback is that the adhesive does not work equally well on every material you might wear, and when they unstick and fall on the floor... well, it is a little embarrassing. I prefer the ones that are attached to the clothing. I have a pair that has to stitched to the blouse with a couple of stitches. It has a benefit of being in the right place and very secure, but it takes a bit more time to attach it with a needle and thread. The second kind is offered in this listing which attaches to the straps of our bra. This is less work once you get a hang of it, and it works well for me.

Even though the price for the package of re-useable shields is higher than the price for the package of disposable ones, in the long run disposable products are always more expensive than the ones you can reuse.

Overall, if you want to have use underarm protection, I think this shield is a good choice.

I feel that the Ready Shield with Snaps did everything I needed. It kept wet smelly odor and stains off my Liz Claiborne Jacket which cost me a fortune to get dryu cleaned all the time. Also, my Tahari Suits I can wear a couple more times before taking to the dry cleaner.

I never write reviews but I must say that this product is great. It totally saves me from the expense of dry cleaning. I wear these with my expensive blouses and the product works from that smelly musky scent that can stay on an expensive blouse. I highly recommend product.

I bought these orginally because I collect and wear vintage clothing. The sticky dress shields can pull up the nap on some of my vintage clothing, and that's not what I want. I was thrilled to wear these dress shields. I watched the video from Kleinerts to be clear on how I was attaching and wearing them. No problems whatsoever. I live in Dallas and plan to wear these with my silk blouses as well. It will save alot of my clothes from excessive cleaning and permenantly staining.

These are so convenient and work great, I love them. They don't work with sleeveless tops (obviously) but are great with anything else.
