I was looking for a simple, practical jewelry box with a lot of compartments to hide in the closet because my jewelry is all over the place. For the price, I was actually very impressed with this product. It's easy to lock, easy to open, and I like the mini-box that can be separated out and kept in a separate location as needed. The drawers open well, and the box is compact and portable. This is a good purchase for storage. If you are looking for something to put on display, you may prefer something more wooden. Also, if you have a lot of dangly earrings, this may not be your best bet. It has a lot of compartments for stud-type earrings, but only about 8 or 10 hooks for necklaces and dangly earrings. I had to double up for my dangly earrings.

I searched forever for a jewelry box and finally settled on this one, and I love it. It has so many compartments for all my stuff, and it feels very stable and secure. Amazing deal for the price!

I gave this box as a gift to my sister. She loved it so much, and had so much space she shared it with her daughter. Only thing is, the lock broke after 1 week of usage. It only stays closed with the key inside... oh well.

I was very pleased to find this box held so much jewelry. My jewelry was scattered in all kinds of boxes, and I was able to combine it all in this one big box. The leather looks good, too. I am very pleased and would highly recommend it. The product arrived as scheduled, too. Good service.

I bought this product in 2009. I am not super impressed with it since it fell apart on me after about 2 weeks. But...it looks like mine was a fluke. Everyone else seems to be very happy with theirs. Anyway, I never pursued a refund or anything like that. I just ate the cost and wrote a negative comment. Someone at Shining Image found my comment and took immediate action. They contacted me and offered me a full refund, which I received today! I am very happy to get that back, and while I may not take another chance on the box, I would be willing to buy from Shining Image again someday. If they are selling anything else, I know that I can give it a try risk-free!

I needed a new jewelry box, and researched the ones I found on Amazon. This one suited my needs perfectly, so I added it to my amazonwishlist. My mother got it for me for Christmas, and she liked it so much, she asked for one herself. Well made, and such great compartments. I love going to this box to get jewelry!

I was also looking for generous size and compartments for lots of earrings and necklaces. The quality of this box is very good and it shipped quickly in good condition. Box is as described. The only issue that I have with it is has a very strong chemical odor. I set the box outside for a couple of day, with all the drawers open or out of the box, to try to eliminate the smell, but it persists. I then sprayed perfume in the box. The odor is still there, but I hope it will disipate with time. Otherwise, the box is well constructed and the leather is nice. I would purchase it again.

This is the perfect jewelry box. It has lots of storage room and is easy to see and locate all your jewelry. I also like it because it has a handle on top making it easy to move or take with you. I live in southern California and have had to evacuate twice in the last 3 years because of fires. This case made it easy and fast to get all my jewelry out of harm's way.

Exactly what I was looking for to hold a lot of jewelry in an organized fashion. Love all the different compartments and nice black leather exterior. The interior is beige in color and not light purple like it shows up in the picture, BUT I like the beige better! Almost went with the brown box from the same company, only because I liked the interior color better. I preferred the black exterior over brown. I was pleasantly surprised to see a better color! The purple color in the picture comes off as looking very girly, but figured I could get away with it, since I am a female. The neutral beige color is easier on the eyes and more elegant and sophisticated in appearance for an older woman. I am extremely pleased!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I don't think it's gorgeous, but it's nice and holds a lot (not bulky things) in a very organized way. (I was surprised at how many things I forgot that I had.) :-) The traveling box stays on my dressing table for my every day favorites and everything else is stored out of the way, but easy to get at in the big case. Taking the traveling box out makes room for a few bulkier bracelets. After ordering, I checked out the Shining Image website for a more detailed description. Sadly, they had a better price. Grrrrrrr!
