Excellent book and very easy to understand for a beginner in spirtualism!
This is the first time that I have made an attempt to study Trika philosophy. For a beginner like me, the book is of immense value. The simple interpretation of many of the complicated words that are exclusive to Trika philosophy will be of great help to many like me. Inferior
I've been reading and studying the Siva Sutras for five years. This book is vastly inferior to the Mark Dyczkowski and Jaideva Singh versions. Along with Swami Lakshmanjoo's commentary, Dyczkowski and Singh will give you a well-rounded, inspiring, authentic, and mystically invigorating relationship with the Siva Sutras. Along with Swami Lakshmanjoo's commentary, Dyczkowski and Singh will give you a well-rounded, inspiring, authentic, and mystically invigorating relationship with the Siva Sutras.The language in this version is archaic, the concepts fuzzy, the grammar poor, and the level of intellectual understanding of the text weak. If you are seeking to penetrate the beauty and gift of the Siva Sutras, this is not the book for you. |
