I have this system installed on my Harley, which has the typical loud exhaust. The speakers are mounted in my 1/4 cafe fairing as is the amp. The wiring is straight forward and an easy install. I have checked and never felt the amp to get hot. The amp powers these speakers very well and I can hear the mids and highs of the music while cruising at 85mph on the freeway. Being that these are only 3" speakers, there is basically no bass, just mids and highs, which is ok because the bass would just get lost with the exhaust noise. I have this system hooked up to a Sansa Fuze (Ipod clone). These are great little MP3 players that have a very decent FM radio. Anyway, this set-up works and I would definitely buy it again if needed. The only warning is that the provided speaker mounts are useless for motorcycle use. You will need to fabricate your own if you want a traditional handlebar mount.

I will probably post a video review later but for now all I can say is this system is incredible!!! I received my amp and speakers yesterday. The speakers are small and compact and the possibilities are almost endless. The 100 watt amp is not much larger than a deck of cards and again there are literally dozens of places to mount it on your bike. I would suggest someplace that gets good air flow as this little amp does get hot (As amps are prone to do). It comes with all the wires and cords needed to pretty much plug and play including a CD/MP3 player jack with cord included. I plugged the speakers in, ran the power to the battery, and plugged the jack into my MP3 Player mounted on my Concours. The sound was actually so loud I couldnt believe it! And clear, too. Cranked completely up on both the amp and the MP3 gave me a little distortion but by that time the sound literally drowned out the engine so I dont think I'll even have to have it up half way in order to hear it even with my helmet on. There is a remote on/off button for turning off the amp when not in use and a low/hi filter on the amp itself. It would have been nice for the volume control to be on the remote as well but I can control it from the MP3 player too so its not a big deal.

For under 100 bucks this system is a steal!!! You'll be hard pressed to find anything close to this for that price. I cant wait to get it all hooked up. More later

Installed this unit on my 1100 classic, great sound, only the speaker wires are too short becasue I installed the amp in my toolkit compartment. Just had to add a foot of wire.I thought the remote would be wireless,the remote is just a on/off switch, which you already have on the amp.I control the volume ect. from my ipod.

Had this for two months and blew a speaker. Opened the enclosure and found an 8 watt speaker inside. Unit is supposed to be 100 watts so no surprise it blew. Sound quality isn't all that, had to turn the bass almost off to prevent distortion. Also have trouble with the input jack for the mp3 player, have to pull it out and shove it back in forcefully every once in a while to get both speakers to play. If your looking for a decent stereo for your bike, keep looking.

Awesome stereo system! Just hooked it up to my Shadow and can't believe how loud these are. I can't even turn them up all the way. By far the best value for under $100

Very good product and very well priced. It was very easy to install in my boat and the sound is great.

I like this stereo amp and speaker product real well. I have a 1998 Honda Valkyrie, 6 cylinder motorcycle and it works great on it. I installed the speakers on the windshield brackets and the amp under my seat and it works great. You can plug in a mp3 player with all your tunes and boogie down the road. If you have a harley with loud pipes, I would look for a bigger unit. Even though this is 100 watts, if you have loud pipes it won't do you any good. What do you want to do impress people when you go by or listen to great sounding music???
Save you ears and go with this great product!!!

I bought this to mount in my truck to play my Ipod. I had tried other solutions and they weren't satisfactory and the high dollar answer to my problem di not appeal to me. So I got these. The only negative is that they are bright chrome, which may look great on a bike, but gives off a serious glare in a vehicle when mounted on the dash. If not mounted in direct sunlight this would not be a problem.

I think they sound great for the price and it was super easy to install. I'm really only writing the review so that folks won't take the Amazon suggestion to purchase the handlebar clamps with the speakers. They aren't compatible. It'll be a waste of $15. I'm sure I'll find some other use for them but they are worthless with the speaker set.

Just installed this system on 2007 Kymco People 250 scooter. Included L brackets were perfect to mount speakers underneath rear view mirrors. I am not very mechanical, but figured out a way to run power to battery. I did have to splice and extend the cord. The amp is mounted near windshield and will have to be protected from rain...I live in the desert so not a major issue. So far I couldn't be happier ! It really is a blast to ride with some tunes going and still be able to hear traffic while riding. Also, plenty loud. A great value...I'm wondering now why I waited to do this...
