I bought this shower caddy to replace my old, rusted out one, so the aluminum pole was a big draw for me. I tried one other one I found at Walmart and ended up returning it because it was too flimsy. I was able to assemble and install this caddy in less than 5 minutes. The construction is excellent, with poles that screw together and deep shelf-tubs that can bear the weight of the large bottles of shampoo we keep in the shower. Great product.

Works like a dream and looks great. A little difficult to set up unless you have a lot of weight to put on it, but worth it. I'm assuming it won't last forever, but sure looks great now and saves an enormous amount of space.

This cady seems to keep from rusting and feels like it remains steady and strong in the shower. It holds large, heavy, bottles of shampoo and conditioner in its baskets. Each basket went into place as directed and is holding is place, not slipping down the pole of breaking off. The pole was difficult to install, but has stayed in place perfect since I put it up. The only down fall is the middle seems to bow out just a tiny bit from the tension. It doesnt seem to have harmed the product or made it less sturdy, but it is a small eye soar.

Agree with other customer that it seems to bow a bit in the middle, but that doesn't seem to impair the quality. It hold's very heavy bottles very well. Not difficult to install. Amount of shower space you save is well worth the higher price tag.

Would only give this product one star. After three months of use, product snapped where it was bowing. Tried to repair it but ended up trashing the whole thing. Don't waste your money.

So far so good. This caddy is very clean and elegant looking. A little pricey for a shower caddy, but worth the money. The baskets are adjustable and generously sized. Good product.

FINALLY a dang shower caddy that doesn't rust! I can't believe there are not more options out there in aluminum and stainless steel, but there just aren't. This looks great, works good in our contemporary home and there are just no complaints. Don't even bother buying any chrome, it will rust. And don't bother buying "rust resistant," because resisting rust doesn't mean rust PROOF, and I guarantee it will also rust in time. This caddy however, will not. I'm now buying a second one for my other bathroom.

As other reviewers have mentioned the pole does bow out a little. This does not bother me, we keep the shower curtains closed.

Pros:

* I like the enclosed plastic holders which keep small bars of soap and ladies razors from slipping through.
* Cost is much less than the fancier versions at other home goods stores.

Cons:

* The toiletry baskets aren't as wide as the other versions I considered.
* The little baskets are hard to put on. DO NOT PUSH on them, GENTLY TWIST!!! Other wise some small parts separate. I managed to fix the two that separated, but I wasn't too impressed, because one separated when I was twisting.
*If your shower floor to ceiling measures higher than 8 feet, you will not be able to use this product. Look for one that measures 9 feet.

Conclusion: This is not a high end product and I was not thrilled with the "construction" glitches. However (in the final analysis) it will do the job and I don't feel the need to run out and get a new one.

PS our shower ceilings are quite high so I did have to use the short piece they say not to use for "tub ledge to ceiling" installations. And I did have to use a metal saw to cut off a portion of that "short" piece typically reserved for shower floor to ceiling installations.

I was hesitant to spend so much money on a shower organizer, but I'm glad I did! This product is very sturdy, and the plastic cups haven't moved an inch (even under the weight of some heavy shampoos). The cups were more opaque than the picture which I prefered anyway over the cheap blinding white plastic look. When I first installed it, it was perfect. Then my husband decided he wanted it on the other side of the shower and when we moved it, I think we bent it ever so slightly. So mine bows out a little too, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

I had had this shower caddy for two months now and it is an excellent solution for the tub. I bought it to replace a (Zenith) shower caddy that had started to rust within a month of use. This one still looks great, is sturdier, the shelves are the perfect size to hold larger bottles and a great price. Even though the shelves are plastic, which I thought would look cheap, they are nice and so much better than the rusty look!

I like the shower caddy.

The good news: I was concerned that it might not fit in my bathroom because of the high ceilings, but I ended up having to actually shorten it. I also really like how easy it is to adjust all the trays.

The bad news: In the picture it looks like the trays are white plastic. Instead, they are a slightly cheap-looking translucent -- like tupperware.

Overall a good, useful purchase. Certainly better than others I looked at in stores.
