Pump Repair Simple and Easy,

This review is from: SHURflo 94-236-08 Replacement Pump Head for 200 and 2088 Pump (Automotive)
I purchased this pump head to repair the Shurflo water pump on my newly aquired RV which had been setting in a garage and unused for about 6-7 years. The pump motor ran but would not pump any water. The repair kit was very simple and easy to install. Instantly, upon re-connecting the pump and turning it on, the unit began to pump water & shut off as soon as full pressure was reached. The pump had been used very little before but I think setting so long deteriorated the check valves inside. The new kit fixed it perfectly.

During an unusual cold spell the ShurFlo pump head in my travel trailer froze. After everything thawed, although the pump motor ran OK, I had a serious leak around the seals in the pump head. Replaced just the head with this new one and all OK. Replacement was a very simple process with only 3 screws involved. The new head works great with no leaks.

Got into winterizing my camper last fall and the pump went bad. Could hear the motor running but upon observation couldn't see it drawing any of the antifreeze from the reservoir. I cussed a lot then got online to find a replacement pump head. Best price I could find was here on Amazon. Got it very timely. Directions for replacing the pump head were very clear and had it done in less than an hour. Camper's winterized. I'm happy.
