1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, November 3, 2007
This review is from: SING ALONG WITH MITCH (FORD STAR TIME)(1960) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Mitch Miller is known for "follow the bouncing ball". I was looking for a video to share with a group of seniors so they could sing along with the bouncing ball and see the words. This video did not have that. It was just a group singing.

I felt it was unfair for this video to receive only one star from a previous reviewer so I thought I would add my two cents' worth. I bought this on a VHS tape from Amazon a while back. This show was a special that came out before the actual "Sing Along With Mitch" series started therefore, no bouncing ball as yet. It was incorporated later in the series. I have taken this video to care centers for seniors and the Alzheimer's patients loved it. They had no need for the bouncing ball and words because most all of them could not read them anyway. But they sure loved to hum and sing along with the music as best they could. I think this is a great video to have to share with the seniors. I am sixty-eight and I love it too. It would be nice if some of the shows WITH the bouncing ball could be released too. I donated the video of this to a care center and am ordering another on DVD to share with others. The picture quality is not great but, after all, this was made many years ago. If you buy this I think you will like it.
