This rolling case is just the right size for my sewing machine and the accessories I bring with me to class, anything larger would have been too big to handle.

The outside fabric is a heavy fabric, and it has a flat top that zips well, it is easy to take my machine out of the case. The handle is easy to bring up to the right height, and the wheels roll well. It has side handles which makes it easier to put into the trunk of the car, another reason not to have gotten a larger one, it can get heavy with the contents.

The only con is I noticed the inside bottom was sticking up,so I went to put it back into place and noticed (actually to my horror) that underneath that piece of fabric was plain old cardboard!! All of us know that cardboard is not going to stay in good condition as long as the rest of the tote. When it finally bends I will replace it with a hard plastic piece. Who knows, it may take longer than I think.

As for the price, a month after I bought it, I saw it at a well-known fabric store for $40.00 less. So, I did not do so good. But, I bought it, I like it because it works for me, I will take it on the chin.

Maybe I will contact Singer about that cardboard, they may have already changed this feature.

After searching many sites to find a suitable case to store my Singer Futura CE-200, I finally found it here on Amazon BUT the item was listed as Temporarily Out Of Stock. You could order it and would be notified when it
came back in stock. I decided to go ahead to get it and since I just needed to use it when I would put my machine away and keep it dust free, I could wait since the price was very good and cheaper than other sites I had visited.
Luck would have it that within a few days I was notified that the bag would ship. I am a Prime member so shipping costs are free whereas other sites would charge me for it.

It arrived today via FedEx. The measurements are as listed in the ad for outside dimensions of 25 inches L x 19.75 inches W x 20.50 inches H. Inside dimensions are 24 inches L x 16 inches W x 17 inches H so my sewing machine and embroidery arm will fit perfectly in it with additional room for supplies. Remember, the embroidery arm lays side ways in the separate bag inside the case as shown in the pictures here on Amazon.
Construction is a heavy fabric so I would put this in the soft sided bag category. There is no padding on the interior of it except I noticed that on the side that the cart handle pulls out from does have the cardboard plus rigid styrofoam inside the lining. The handle does pull up and down easily,a good full height for me and the wheels work perfectly. There are zippered storage compartments on the sides and front as well as inside. There is a mesh holder also inside. Straps to hold your machine and a separate bag to hold your embroidery arm. There are fabric handle straps on the sides so lifting and stowing the bag is easy.Fabric strap handles on top that slip together with velco to secure the bag.Read more ›

I purchased the Singer 160 Anniversary sewing machine (big lengthwise) and couldn't find a case or substantial cover for it anywhere. Found this in the same place I found the sewing machine & lots of other stuff and waited until it was back in stock and ordered it when it was. As usual, arrived in less than 48 hours well packed. I actually thought I'd have to take the long arm off to fit it into 2 sections of the bag. Boy, was I surprised when I saw the size of this rolling tote! I almost think you could fit 2 regular size sewing machines in it and the Singer 160 fits easily with the arm on ... drops right in. There is also a well padded large tote within the TOTE for either taking the arm off or whatever you want to use it for ... like the foot and cords. There are also all sorts to zippered compartments for whatever you want to use them for. It will certainly keep my machine well protected from dust & scratches & bumps. The handle pops of and down with the push of a button and pulls the case on smooth rolling wheels. It's a HUMDINGER!

Love this tote bag. Carrying my machine back and forth to the numerous classes I've been taking was killing my back. This rolling tote bag has made my life easier. It is sturdy and roomy. I can get my machine (Bernina 930), attachments, and class supplies in it so I just have one bag to worry with. As always, Amazon's service was great.

This is THE case to have if you want to keep your Futura machine safe and dust-free! It fits the machine perfectly (CE100, CE150, CE200, CE250) and comes with a nicely padded little sleeve (with handles!) that holds the embroidery unit which then tucks into the tote. It's everything as described in the original write up.

I purchased this last week and received it June 27, 2012 from Amazon. I will definitely be returning it.
I have a Singer Futura Quatro SEQS6000 w/long arm.
This tote doesn't have padding at all! The top, sides, and bottom are nothing but flimsy, thin, CARDBOARD and fabric! The top is fabric and cardboard. The top is sunken on the right side as you face the tote bag. No way to correct. What horrible construction and the price was over $100.00. The bottom of the tote bag is fabric covered, with flimsy, thin, cardboard and fabric. I was so excited to find this so I could take my machine to quilting classes. This won't happen. The only thing I can do is to continue the search for a decent bag. DO NOT PURCHASE!
