Great Voice Range for Altos
This has a nice range for altos, which can sometimes be hard to find. Also, a nice selection of wedding songs.

Mainly for contemporary weddings
I bought this collection hoping to find something I could comfortably sing at a Catholic friend's wedding. Unfortunately, every piece in here falls just outside that very mainstream need. The emphasis is on the contemporary, and many are shallow. Most of these songs would be right at home in a 1980's wedding in the park. Many start with, "Here we stand ... "...

I bought this collection hoping to find something I could comfortably sing at a Catholic friend's wedding. Unfortunately, every piece in here falls just outside that very mainstream need. The emphasis is on the contemporary, and many are shallow. Most of these songs would be right at home in a 1980's wedding in the park. Many start with, "Here we stand ... " which starts to have a desperate I-don't-have-the-faintest-idea-what-to-say feel to it after a while. This is not to say the emotion isn't there, or that it isn't sincere. But it doesn't have the depth or the variety I had hoped for.
