I wasn't getting power to my Sirius sat radio. I determined it was the charger. After going to numerous radio shacks to be told they don't have one but they would be willing to sell me a new radio with all the accessories I went to the Amazon site and boom there it was.It works as expected and was inexpensive.

Shipped fast. Worked, which is always good. Learned that plugging and unplugging from power port is probably the action that ruined my power cord in the first place. So, leave the power cord plugged in if you know that it won't drain your battery...probably wont on newer models.

sucks because you have to buy a new ever 2 years. BUT what do you do. fits the reciever perfectly

It is a fully functional adapter for my Sirius radio and it really works.
I plugged it in and presto - 12 volts of electrical power for my radio.

There isn't enough information in the description. It just says fits "newer" Sirius models. Well, the SDST5V1 Starmate 5 is a newer Sirius model and this power cord does not fit the SDST5V1's power dock.

This item is awesome, the cord on my other power cord got frayed and quit working. This one works great however!

Is it worth it to send it back,? power cord adaptor works fine. Attenna, per siriusxm tech is broken as indicated by x appearing on screen Adaptor 5 stars. Antenna zero stars. And trying to discuss that Antenna was new did not help. They just cut me off in mid conversation. Maybe that is why they are having financial problems. For me to send antenna back to AMAZON (I paid 7 bucks for it) does not seem worth the time effort or money it would cost me. So now I am into a half year without my sirius radio. And Radio Shack and other retailers where I could easily get replacement parts say they have ended their affliation with Sirius XM. Any suggestions?

Works as advertised. I had to replace the original one because the insulation was wearing off the wires at the strain relief grommet. Not sure that the construction of this one will proved to be any stronger.

This cable did not work for my older Starmate model, so I could not use it. But it arrived quickly and in good brand-new condition, exactly as described in ad.

Great product, came in a timely manner. I have a refurbished portable Sirius radio but this works well in my car, plus right into lighter socket.
