The SK Hand Tools 3/8-Inch Drive 10.7-Inch Professional Roto-Head Ratchet provide greater access when working in confined spaces or when extra long reach is required. This roto head ratchet features a completely enclosed ratcheting mechanism which is easy to remove and replace for cleaning or rebuilding. The triple tooth contact provides smooth ratcheting action with little back movement. The ratchet also features hardened pawl and teeth for durability and long life. A diamond knurled grip provides sure handling, even when oily. Chamfered ends help lead the socket over fastener heads. Bought this handle in 1972, while a mechanic. It cost the then-huge sum of $25 but paid for itself right away. It's an extremely strong, extremely flexible handle, and the ratcheting action is fine enough to allow it to work in tight places. It aint as pretty as a lot of flex-heads, but it is much stronger, given that the head is supported by two pins. I've broken loose a lot of rusted connectors with it, and, 35 years later, it's still going strong.

This is simply the best flex head ratchet you will ever need. This ratchet is extremely durable and rugged, a pleasure to use. What makes this flex head ratchet such a joy is the actual "flex" location, it is directly over the center of the driving point not behind on the handle, this keeps the driving portion in contact with the fastener while allowing the handle to flex without "walking" off of the fastener. I had the opportunity to use this ratchet many years ago and was very happy to finally obtain for myself. If a better ratchet was made I have not found it, there is a reason why SK ratchets are the best!
