the item works as described. it fits my Mackie 608PM great and keeps it from getting banged up while being stored. i will also use it when gigging for added protection. I would've preferred to see the front open down rather than up, but no big deal. It would also be nice if there were velcro flaps where the cords plugged in the back, but it may keep it from breathing. a small pocket for the power cable is the only thing it lacks. otherwise seems durable and on my mixer right now. i would buy another if this one went missing.

Our band uses this mixer bag as a cheap alternative to a hard sided road case. It's confusing to some as to how it fits on the mixer, but once you figure it out, it works great.

I was prepared to by a fancier one c/w pockets etc, but had trouble tracking one down. At the price, this seemed worth the risk. It turns out to be a good fit, a simple design, and quite functional, offering good protection for the delicate parts (front & back). Also seems pretty well made - zippers zip, etc. It doesn't come with instructions beyond a label saying "Back". I spent about an hour trying all sorts of ways to put it on before convincing myself that having the back at the back and the zippered lids opening up was not only the actual plan, but a good one as well. The little piece of velcro holds the lids together on top. So, yep, - simple, well thought out, functional, good value, & it looks like it may stand up well too.
