This is a very nice gun case. If you have a break down shotgun or rifle, the case will protect it nicely. You will be the envy of the crowd. I'll be buying another one as soon as I can sneek it by my wife :-).

Case looks great and feels very heavy duty. My Lanber 2087 fits perfectly and I can now lug it around without fear of damaging it. The key is a little bit on the flimsy side for such an otherwise stout case.

very good value for the money and very well built. The case is deeper than some other cases because the same dimensions are used in the case for shotguns with multiple barrel sets but this is not a problem.

The product itself is excellent. You can't really ask for a better built product. The lining is well put together and the exterior is very durable. I WOULD BE HESITANT TO BUY IT AGAIN FROM AMAZON. It came in a box that was already open which sat inside another box with a few other items I purchased. The keys that came with the product did not fit it. The hinge plate was warped as if it had been bent during storage. It is quite possible that Amazon sent me someone else's return item. Buyers beware!

Fits my Ithaca 24, 26, 28 and 30" break-down over & unders like a glove.

It's solid and well padded with a comfortable handle. It doesn't look like a gun case.

I have leather, cloth, wood frame and aluminum cases. This is by far the most compact, secure, and robust case for a take-down, hinge type, over & under or side by side shotgun I've seen or used.

Many cases require the forestock to be attached to the barrel. This case has a separate forestock slot. That means one less opportunity to scuff the bluing and less chance of damaging the often delicate forestock.

Also, many cases have a roomy compartment for the butt half and for the barrel. Even with a securing strap the gun tends to rattle around in those cases. Not so with the SKB case. The components are securely held.

This is a compact case, but I do wish there was a bit more room for a wipe down cloth or barrel snake. The compactness and solidity of the case more than makes up for this drawback, however.

Bang for the buck, best case you can buy...hands down. Don't settle for anything less...you will not be disappointed in buying this case.
