Flat out, best protected case I own. WARNING, Slippery,

Let's keep it simple, in this case, my horn was damaged once, and the handle just broke---BUT, it's the best case I've owned in 28 years of being a professional trombonist.
It is fabulous, and is the only thing I travel with (unless I have two horns). WARNING: *BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN OPENING THIS CASE- keep it on the floor. If you put it on any type of chair, particularly a plastic chair like they often have at schools- the case will slip off, and likely damage your horn. If you put it flat on the ground, fully open it, it's rock solid. Also, handle just broke, but looks like a defect in the case, not a regular design. I'm really picky--if I felt I was being jerked around, I'd say so. I would buy this again without hesitation- and it has a lifetime warrantee.

This case is like all reviews suggest, sturdy reliable and cheapish as a flight case with a bonus unlimited lifetime warranty.
The most impressive thing about this purchase is that Amazon managed to get it to me freakishly quick. Took less than 5 days including weekend from states to Australia. Great item fast postage and cheap./ Win win

After reading a glowing review, I purchased this case for my son's band trip to Hawaii. The case itself seems very sturdy. Hard plastic and good padding inside. My issue is with the latches which seem very weak(cheap) compared to the rest of the case. They don't snap down very tightly and have an upturned edge that causes them to catch on things and pop open. There is no way to lock them down to prevent this. The middle latch does accommodate a luggage lock which we used. Because of the latches, I would not recommend this case be used for checked baggage. Even for everyday use, it would be necessary to put a lock on the middle latch to prevent the case from unexpectedly popping open.
