Despite the fact that there (supposedly) isn't much quality fetish multimedia out there, this CD is a waste of time. The movies are "behind-the-scenes" substitutes for REAL content and the interactivity is clumbsy and contrived.

I don't know when this CD was produced but it suffers from the same problem as most early multimedia: far too much form over content. Face it people, the reason why we buy such a CD is not for the flashy (and they aren't even that) interfaces. It's for pictures/sounds/movies and as many as you can cram on a CD without sacrificing overall quality.

To top it off, the presentation is occasionally incompatible with Windows 2000. You spend a good deal of your time manually navigating the content via Windows Explorer if you want to find anything.

In sum, lame and contrived. Save your money - I wish I had.

The Skin Two CD is beautifully designed and full of wonderful quirky detail. Appealing to a spirit of adventure both in form and content, it gives a snapshot view of a London underworld which many people dream about but few experience.

Trevor Watson's images are totally brilliant and the video of him at work with girlfriend and muse Debbie throws a new light on his work by bringing out his toungue-in-cheek sense of fun. In fact the whole graphic design of the interface itself is a finely-judged tease.

The clubbing section is particularly satisfying allowing the voyeur to roam around a fetish club and linger on its inhabitants in photographic detail. The interviews section here is one of the best touches. It lets you listen to a choice of interesting characters answering initmate questions about their lifestyle and sexuality, something you probably wouldn't get the chance to do on a real-life visit.

In fact the CD mixes fantasy with documentary in a totally unique way and manages to both titilate and inform without any pontification. The folks who put this together were smart enough to manage this tricky balance and did so with a wonderful sense of taste and judgement, and also a good deal of loving care it would seem.

Those looking for pornography as such will be disappointed however. The eroticism here is incredibly horny precisely because you are required to take your mind and imagination along with you. This sets it apart from anything comparable I have seen and gives it a unique edge.

The content is both fun and challenging at the same time. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is fascinated by the aesthetics of role-play and sex.

This has got to be the best CD ROM ever. It's explicit, stylish and the models are beautiful. You have to get this one.....
