They are easy to store and take with you.

The exercises you can do can be as easy or as hard as you want simply by raising or lowering the straps and adjusting the distance between you and the door.
James Simon
I really enjoy using the TRX straps at my local gym, and like the idea of having something at home for simple, body weight, resistance training.

I looked into TRX and Jungle Gym products. I have actually played around with the Trx suspension trainer but was turned off by the price. The SKLZ power strapz are well constructed and easy to use. The knotches are numbered so it is easy to sync up the seperable straps. It provides a good at home workout and appears that it will last a while. If I have any wear and tear issues I will update you guys. I am a competitive female athlete that trains heavily 5x a week but I bought this product to supplement my workouts and incorporate stabilizer muscles and bodyweight exercises. I like the idea that I can get a hotel workout in when I travel.
This product is great for an athlete, stay at home mom, really anyone who is trying to either get fit or try a different style of training.

I've had weak shoulders all my life, and for years haven't even been able to do "girl pushups" without cheating. My physical therapist had me doing wall pushups (no gravity resistance) and then table pushups, but I couldn't find a surface that was low enough and stable enough to offer a bit more resistance without putting too much weigh on my shoulders causing me to collapse. I tried using the edge of a coffee table or sofa, but ended up pushing them across the floor. These straps seem to be the solution. When I first got them I had them set for a length that was about the height of my kitchen cabinets (which I had been using as a base). I thought it would be easy but the added instability of the straps made it even more challenging. After a couple weeks at that level, I've now moved down a notch. It's definitely more difficult, but I can DO it! After years of frustration and shoulder pain, finally some progress. Thank you!!

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to a TRX, this is one possible avenue to take. It's door-mounted only, and doesn't provide quite the same unique balancing challenge that a TRX can provide to activate the core, but it still does a decent job for the price. The quality of the straps, handles, and door mounts are pretty good.

This comes with a few exercises printed out, which is to be expected at this price point. You're not going to get a DVD (I wouldn't think so, anyway). However, there are tons of videos out there on suspension trainers, so you can find plenty of exercises to adapt.

Overall, this item isn't bad if you're looking for a piece of home workout equipment at a cheaper price.

Received these strapz as a birthday present as I was interested in trying out some type of suspension training system but didn't want to shell out $150+ for Rip 60 or TRX. I have other Sklz products and am pleased with them as well, so I knew that the Power Strapz wouldn't disappoint and I was right. I was set up in minutes and I went through about a 50-60 minute workout using the straps doing basic movements (Chest press, Rows, Chest Fly, Back Fly, Bicep Curls, Tricep Extensions, Squats, Pistol Squats, lunges, pike, knee tucks) and I got a great all around workout. It is missing a few features that the more expensive systems have but overall I think the value can't be beat.

Cliffs:
Pros -
Easy to set up and change the length of the straps using the numbers provided
Very good for working almost every major muscle group.
Seem durable...so far.

Cons
As mentioned before it's lacking a few features that other systems come with such as:
Limited to only mounting it on the door as opposed to the ceiling, tree, etc.
Your limited to the strap length that they provide you with their numbering system. Other systems have total adjust-ability with buckles that you can set the straps to any length you want. This wasn't a problem with the Power Strapz until I adjusted them to the longest setting to do knee tucks. The door I was using was a little shorter than expected so the straps barely sat above the ground. I was still able to do the exercise but a couple inches higher would have been beneficial.

Bottom line: Probably the single best piece of exercise equipment I've bought for <$50. The fact that you can adjust the position of your body to make it easier or harder puts this ahead of a pull up bar for me.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
My husband is quite the fitness nut and between us we travel a fair amount, so I thought this looked interesting to try out. The concept and design is actually fairly simple. You have two long straps designed to go over a door (between the door and the door frame). On one end of each strap is a handle designed for gripping, while on the other end is a stirrup designed for supporting either your upper arms or your ankles. Each end offers two exercises for a total of four exercises which work the major areas of your body.

If you use the handle end, you can either do chest presses or a back row. For chest presses, simply adjust the straps so that you can lean out at about a 45 degree angle and do push ups. For back rows, adjust the straps so that the handles are almost out of reach while you're laying flat on the floor, then pull yourself up. The stirrup end allows for supported push-ups if you lower the stirrup to about a foot off the floor and put your feet in them, or for abdominal work if you put your arms in the stirrups and raise your legs (the stirrups should obviously be about arm height for this exercise).

These four exercises aren't going to sculpt and tone your whole body, and used alone you probably won't seem much result, but used in conjunction with other exercise methods, or used while you're traveling and unable to do your normal workout, this equipment can be a helpful addition to your repertoire. It is also possible that a creative fitness buff may be able to find additional exercises to do with this equipment. Obviously, all these exercises use one's own body weight, so the actual work-out you get will depend on your size.
