Greetings. I ordered these for my Trek mountain bike. Regarding the fenders... as the other reviewer said, they do not fit. Holding them up, I guess they would fit the curve of the wheel, but they are impossible to mount, both the front and the back. The 'clip' is only about as big around as a quarter, very tiny. This may fit a 'road' bike or a fixie, but was nowhere near even clipping on my bike. You wouldn't even be able to force it, it would just break. Also, the front hardware just doesn't work, I have no idea how I would even put it on my bike. I consider myself fairly bright, and the instructions were vague, just 4 tiny pictures of what to do.

My bike is a standard size and shape of mountain bike (26"). At least in the description should be a warning that these are only for 'road' type bikes. This does not fit Mountain bikes OR bikes in the size range listed. On top of that, these aren't actually 'clip' on fenders, they are permanent mount, it 'clips' on permanently.

Regarding Niagara Cycle, they won't refund for a return unless the item is unopened. How would you know if it fit without opening the package, which is really just a bag of screws attached to two fenders that are zip tied together. They were both unfriendly and unwilling to facilitate a refund or exchange for another item. They wanted me to pay for return shipping and also not refund shipping both ways. This total cost would be double what the fenders even cost, meaning if it doesn't fit, you are out of luck.

Bottom line, don't buy these. Poor product, poor description, and poor customer service from Niagara cycle.

Even before the product arrived I already suspected that the curves won't match exactly my bike, after all it will be very difficult to find the specific fenders for my bike. But, with the use of my heat gun I easily modified it to fit. I recommend using a hair dryer if there is no heat gun available. The material is made of plastic. Bend it while heating it. Overall, with its price and I am very happy with it.

These mounted right onto my bike and do their job nicely. As you would expect with anything that claims a "universal fit" there was a little head scratching to adapt them to my particular frame, but nothing difficult. I didn't have a bolt hole in the rear part of the frame to mount the back fender holder, so I just used a zip-tie. EZ and it works great. At the bottom end of the back fender there is molded fork that snaps over the frame. I was afraid that my frame tubes would be too large a diameter for the clip, but the ABS of the fenders is really tough and accommodated things just fine. In the end the installation took me all of 10 minutes.

For the price I couldn't have asked for better! I bought these with a Delta Stem Raiser to convert an old Cannodale MTB to a daily town cruiser. With the free shipping on these and the stem raiser together it was like getting the fenders as a bonus. I am perfetly satisfied with them, especially after riding through muddy patches!

I can not imagine a single good reason to spend a single penny more on snap-on MTB bike fenders.

The item does not specify which bikes it fits on. The rear fender fitted well, and it does a good job. The front one however did not have the same mounting as on my bike, so I could not get it working. For future buyers, this will not fit on a Schwinn Sidewinder 26".

If you've heard of a cobble job, thats how the fenders went on. Well at least the back one, I still haven't put the front one on. I have a NEXT bicycle, with the shocks in front, and back.

I just installed these after similar fenders from a different manufacturer were stolen off of my bike. The biggest issue with these fenders is installation. That said, all bikes are different and it is not sks' fault that they will need some minor tweaking. Most fenders will need some tweaking. I put them on a specialized hybrid bike which has 26" wheels because it is a smaller frame. The only tweeking the front fender needed was to slightly bend the steel bracket so the fender would not touch the tire. Installing this fender took all of five minutes. The only tools needed were A crecsent wrench and an allen wrench. The rear fender was a little more tricky. The bracket which came with it to attach it to the bridge did not clip onto bike because the aluminum was too thick for the bracket clip. It will likely work well with a steel frame. If you have a hole on your bridge, you are supposed to be able to flip the bracket and put a bolt through the bracket and also your bridge. Unfortunately, the hole on my bridge faces down and not toward the back of the bike. However this was not a problem. The fender itself also has a slot through which a bolt can be placed pointing up (good design). I chucked the clip on bracket and bolted the fender directly into the downward facing hole on the bridge of my bike. I then clipped the end of the fender onto the seat tube just below the deraillieur wire and it was installed. I had to stretch the clip to fit my aluminum frame, but it stays in place and did not break. I have a rear rack, so I also zip tied the other end of the fender onto the underside of my rack to keep it from making noise. If you don't have a rear rack, this will not be an issue. My only complaint about these fenders is that the rear fender is not quite as long as my previous fender. That said, after riding in the rain, I was kept clean and dry or at least I was not wet or dirty from wheel spray. Overall, these are good lightweight fenders for an excellent price. If they get stolen, I will only be out $6.48.

So you've got a bike that you want to use in all weather and you don't want to live with all that water and yuk that's spinning off your tires, right? Or maybe you simply want your comfort/crossover bike to look more like an off-road machine? Either way, these fenders are gonna help. And being plastic, they add almost no weight to your bike. Be prepared to wing your way through the installation, though, 'cause the instructions are not as detailed as they could be. Anyone who's savvy enough to work on their own bike will be able to figue it out. And if you're worried about the durability of plastic fenders as compared to the good old sheet metal fenders you see on cruisers, these plastics probably won't hold up as long, but sheet metal fenders weigh a lot more, and the plastics are very inexpensive, so......it's your call.

For $6 these fenders are a good purchase. The front fender properly fit my mountain bike's suspension fork after I bent the fender's metal hanger to a 90 degree angle (from an approximately 110 degree original angle). Sure the metal hanger has been weakened and may break someday, but I can easily replace it with a thicker brass corner brace from a hardware store. The rear fender fit without any hassle, but I do wish it were 6 inches longer, however I can easily rivet on a plastic extension. I was amazed that the seemingly tiny diameter snap-on terminal was able to pop onto my 1-1/8 inch seat tube and grab it firmly (but it is plastic afterall). Made in Germany is a plus, for me.

For $6.50, you can't go wrong. The front fender didn't fit in between my front fork; however after cutting off ~1-2 mm / side, it fit perfect. The back has adapters for various types of mounting. Including trimming the fenders and working around stuff already on my commuter bike, it took maybe a 1/2 hour to install.

I can't speak to the durability, but they seem like they should work well for a while.

these would not fit on either my road frame, or my track frame. my rear drop outs were just too narrow to even fit the fender between them, let alone the wheel clearance for a bulky fender. same with the front with my v brakes. the fenders are just to high profile to fit on any bike with tight space. maybe if you had some huge gaping space between your wheel and your brakes/frame. most definitely not universal.
