I purchased several mattress & pillowcase covers from this company. I was waking up with bites & could not figure out why. My husband was fine & after several inspections, I saw absolutely no indication of a bed bug problem. However, I wanted to try something. I purchased a mattress cover for each bed in our home. After the very easy installation on our bed, I have never again woken up with bites. Also, this size cover in particular was the only product that did not qualify for super saver shipping. I e-mailed the company with a request to not charge me shipping since I had ordered almost $200 worth of products from them. Much to my surprise and delight, I soon saw a credit on my Amazon account for the shipping charges. This is an excellent product from an excellent company.

Make sure to measure your mattress height before buying - there is a 9" and a 12" tall version of this cover.

I shopped around for bed bug proof mattress covers, and decided to buy this cheaper one despite the mixed reviews. I'm satisfied with it. It wasn't difficult to put on, although if it's a tight fit for your mattress you should take a few minutes and not get impatient. The zipper is nothing special, but it's about as secure as you could reasonably expect - I put a bit of tape over the end just to be sure. The material is exactly what I expected after reading the description of "cotton-like." It's stiffer than cotton, but softer than paper. It doesn't crunch or crinkle and it has no odor.
