Some years ago, I had a pair of folding scissors of this type that were of high quality and very useful. I have tried to replace them previously with two other brands. However, both were totally unsatisfactory; they did not have a smooth cutting action, showed unsatisfactory quality control by the manufacturer, and would not fold up without great effort and awkward manipulations. This American-made pair of folding scissors, however, finally make the grade. They operate smoothly, both in cutting and in folding. These are definitely keepers.

I've had one of these before, and liked it. When my original one disappeared after I traveled somewhere, I needed a replacement. This one is black instead of silver. I like it just as much. It's an excellent pair of scissors to use with my needlework projects, and I love the fact that it folds into itself.

Accept no substitutes! The Slip-n-snip is terrific. I keep it in my purse and use it all the time (coupons, loose threads, etc.)
It may cost a touch more than other folding scissors, but it is worth every penny to get a product that lasts. And I liked the fact that it's made in Oregon.

Sturdy and sharp
