My son wanted a slushie making cup he saw on tv. After having trouble with their customer service, shipping, etc., I ordered these. They came really quickly and worked perfectly! My five-year-old could stir Kool-aid, OJ & yogurt, and more and it turned slushy perfectly. It even gets a bit like a Popsicle or ice cream if you leave it in the mug longer. I can mix more "adult beverages" in mine too! They were a great buy and I convinced several friends to purchase them too!

I have to tell you that I was so excited about getting this product and using it all the time, however I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the slush when using diet drinks, ie; no sugar. The ice crystals don't form as nicely as it would if the product is made with a lot of sugar. If you plan on using with sugar filled sodas, then this product will be good for you, for diet drinks, thumbs down.

Does what it is supposed to do, but the insulation cups don't insulate!
It is just a flimsy layer of plastic that starts dripping from condensation within seconds.
After a couple of weeks of use, they already show signs of wear and tear.
$25 should be sufficient to make a better quality product.
The slush is great though. Love the ones from Ice tea and orange juice!

I ordered these for my son and got berated for not ordering Slushie Magic (rolls eyes) I did get an apology after we made slushies, though! My advice is after freezing, pour drink in and walk away for about 7 minutes. Come back, instant slush. Now I want one for alcololic drinks without having to go through the blender. Ordering second set!

This one works better even though it looks cheap. The ones that are translucent and in blue, pink and no color all have a visible seam. The instructions on the others say to freeze them upside down. Well that helps but it will fail anyway just not in the freezer. My old one let go in my lap. The next thing I knew I looked like I made water in my pants. The slush mug has no seam to give out. Just don't put in in the dish washer and no sharp objects in the drink/core area.
This also gets much colder so I do put it in the freezer upside down but that is so my beverage will not freeze in the bottomn all the cold is higher up.
The only thing I would change is I'd make a larger one I always buy big gulps, 44 oz drinks at the Ice house and SONIC.
All IN ALL I give this a Big 5 stars and two thumbs up.

It worked perfectly for me. I put it in the freezer until hard and put in my drink and stirred it every now and then it was a slush.

I love the slush mug so much. I originally got one as a gift but it was so cool, I have one for myself now. I drink everything out of it and it's awesome.

The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because even though it says it can make a slush from room temperature drinks, that isn't true. The drink needs to be refrigerated first. Make sure your slush mug insert is frozen entirely when you pour your drink or else it won't slush correctly.

Otherwise, this is a seriously cool product.... no pun intended....

It does what it does, but for the pricing i'm not that impressed. However, the buy is worth it for me. Its fun, easy, and convenient. Great for everyone!

this mug is pretty good it works better if you put it in the freezer for 12hrs or more. you hafta mix every 5 min and you hafta scrape the ice off the sides when you do. it works pretty good though.

I bought these for my children remembering how much I loved them as a child! Works great with Coke and Kool-aid. Found out it does not work with root beer, though.
