The car kit for the Stilletto 2 works very well. The large programmable channel buttons are easy to select without looking at them while driving. I do think the remote could be improved with fewer buttons. After you get your favorites programmed, it is unlikely that you'll use more than a few buttons on the remote, if you use it at all.

This makes the Stiletto2 very easy to use in the car. It just plugs in and you're ready to listen. Before ordering check to make sure that there is a blank FM station in your area. There are none in my area so I can't use the FM transmitter. Luckily I'm using it in a car that still has a cassette player so I bought an adapter for that. The other option is to connect it to a radio that has an external input. A lot of the new ones do.

...You need this vehicle kit. I've had it for over a month and it works very well. The Stiletto is tolerating connecting and disconnecting from the vehicle kit well- no signs of wear. The FM modulator sound quality is great, but the signal output seems pretty weak. Much weaker than the earlier Sirius units. If you live in a city, a direct connection will be needed IMHO. Love it!

If you are using a new Stiletto in your care then this is an essential accessory. At first I was worried about the button set up but have to admit that it is far superior from my original series radios design and easy to use while driving. The remote is easy to memorize as well which again makes it easy to use (a standard easy scroll up/down channel button is the only thing that is missing. As now this takes two buttons - up/down and enter).

The antenna extender is extremely long and really is essential since the FM transmitters have been neutered by FCC regulations. If you are in a major city with a lot of radio traffic you will still have difficulties and will probably want to pick up the FM modulator kit as well.

In the end it is worth it. It attaches very easily to my vent and blends well onto my dash. I am a bit snobby about the interior of my car and it looks clean and nice.

I attempted to hard wire the unit into my vehicle wiring. The tech specs clearly state input voltage 10-16v. Hard wiring means you don't use the 12v plug BTW. I powered up and the unit worked but got very hot. I cut the power but it was too late. After burning this up, I read online that Sirius receivers take 5v input. This was not stated ANYWHERE in the manual.

I think it would have been a nice product had the instructions not been so disastrously misleading. I think it's very odd for a unit designed for vehicles to take anything other than 12 volts.

Not the best looking gadget but works great and this is what you need if you're going to listen to your Stiletto 2 in your car!

We needed this so we could listen to our Sirius radio when we camped out at our desert property, which is in the middle of nowhere southwest. This installed quickly and simply in our trailer. The antenna, that came with the set works great on the outside of the trailer, we have no problems picking up all the channels in our package. We did not have to buy extra speakers, because it hooked up to the portable speaker I use for my Zune. This product has my recommendations. Service was great too.

I bought 2 of these kits one for my car and one for my fifth wheel trailer. They were easy to install and work well. Now I can enjoy my Sirius radio wherever I am.

This product does just what I need. It's easy to install and use as well as being portable enough to take from one vehicle to another. I'm very pleased with this product.
