I love the design of this particular oil burner but I wish it were a little taller as the glass dish becomes very hot from the tealight candle. But it works very well and is attractive.

Nice design. Works perfectly if you use common sense...,

Those who complain about smoking or burning oil likely either didn't include water (you put water in the saucer and add a few drops of oil to that - the water keeps the oil from burning and warms it gently) or put it too close to something else. I found that if its within a few inches of another item, the heat doesn't disperse and the dish will overheat. Then it starts "smoking' although it seems to be more mist from the water than burning oil. I found that as long as you keep 3-4 inches all around free of other objects, the heat never builds up enough to overheat. You may also get overheating if the burning wick of the candle gets longer than 1/4 inch.
With all that in mind (mostly taking care and using common sense), its a lovely design that works well with my decor and has never failed. As long as I make sure the water level is high enough, I've found that it will last as long as the candle does so I don't have to keep refilling it. The oil gives me a much wider array of scents than room fresheners do. Personally, I use Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab perfume oils. My favorites for the oil warmer are "Shanghai" which is a fresh green tea scent or "Mr Ibis" which is an Aloe, musk, and papyrus scent.

This diffuser seems to really work well, I use it to diffuse essential oils in my home. It looks alot better than others I've seen, and the removable glass is easy to clean.

Somewhat disappointing...,

I had anticipated that the fragrance from the oil would "melt" into the air. Instead, it's much like incense and smokes...because the heat is so intense, the oil "burns off" rather quickly and doesn't really give much. I think incense is a better buy for the money.

i have two of these in a pretty large space and they fill the air with a lovely fragrance within minutes. i use scented waxes from scentsy and they are melted down in about 4 minutes. these are small, unassuming, and contemporary looking. no complaints at all.

I love this little oil warmer. I bought two and would buy more. They're easy to carry and you can actually smell the oil when it's burning. In the dark, they throw nice romantic light. Great ambiance! Great buy!

The glass dish cracked before I'd even owned the thing for a week, and that was with light to moderate use. Totally unacceptable.

Fire Hazard!,

I have been using essential oil defusers for over 20 years now and I have never had one burst into to flames before...twice! The dish is to low to the candle, so the water boils and the oil and water start dripping in the candle and BOOM, you got a fire. I am throwing this away immediately and I suggest not buying this to anyone thinking of it. And to the people that have it...THROW it out or risk a potential catastrophe!

Nice but small,

It is nice but it is small. It's works perfectly but glass to candle distance is close enough to make the glass burn if your oil is low or empty. BE CAREFUL!

very basic and does not work very well,

The photos make the product appear much nicer than it really is, it is actually very rudimentary in design and materials. It is very small and the tea light does not heat the oil very well. If you looking for a good oil diffuser for aroma therapy, you should look elsewhere.
