Bought this for my home network where I needed more than 5 ports for a printer, desktop pc's, router, laptop, etc and it did the job. SMC made a very simple switch and it works great without any internet performance issues. Perfect for a small office or home office!

I'm not concerned with the actual product, but I chose the free shipping option and I guess somebody wanted to punish me for doing so as it took 35 days to get it from the day I ordered it. After 2 weeks, it said it was processing the shipment. Books I ordered the same day and with free shipping came 3 days later but no, not the switch.

Amazon didn't even bother to reply to my emails requesting to cancel this order since it didn't give the option for it. Had I know it was going to take this long I could have went and got a switch locally the same day for a few bucks more.

To me, this is a reflection of the product if I ever needed tech support (not likely since I'll just throw it in the trash and get one locally next time), as it probably would take days or weeks to get support if the shipping is this SLOW.

Yep, learned my lesson, don't buy anything hardware related from Amazon, just books as I've never had a problem with that.
