My old Netgear would drop me down to 100Mbps sometimes, but not this one. I really like the solid construction of it, too.

UPDATE (1/22/11): found that port #4 is defective. Whatever is plugged into it loses connectivity when the cable is touched, even lightly. I still like this item, but a little disappointed in this issue.

I am buying a replacement due to some electrical surge that took out my current 8505T switch.

Shipping is slow with Amazon... but you get used to it.
I ordered 2-day shipping from Amazon, and ordered another product from another company with standard shipping, and both will arrive the same day, 3 days after ordering.
