This review is from: SNAP! Classic Arcades Pong (Jewel Case) (CD-ROM)
I look at when video games seem to come to life for myself, and yet, some of them really just don't. It is just a shame really when a game gets revisited everytime. The SNAP! software company recently got the rights to marketing and using Atari's video games to the fullest abilities. Yet, the classic style really doesn't come here. Their version of the classic and revolutionary Pong, doesn't even have the same arcade style feel the original one had when it came out in the 70's. Unfortunately, you only get one version out of it, rather than a whole different amount of versions, including the rare 4-player mode that was only rarely issued. Nevertheles, it is just a dissapointment. I strongly suggest you get the Atari Anniversary Edition on CD-ROM instead. Not only do you get Pong, but you get many more classic Atari games to choose from. All in all, you're wasting anywhere from 5 to 10 dollars on this CD-ROM, when you can get the Atari Anniversary Editon for the same price, and more. This one truly doesn't have it.
