A thoroughly nasty book,
By Bob (UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Snow Hill (Paperback)
This is set in London and not Birmingham as I originally thought! The book is a sordid little tale which should really come with an over-18s only warning. In places the descriptions are gratuitously graphic and I was left with a bad taste in my mouth by the end.
The premise initially seemed promising and there were some reasonable ideas in the book but it was poorly executed with two-dimensional characters and lazy authorship. If I could give this no stars, I would, and would actively avoid anything else by the same author. It's one of the few books I wish I could unread |
