This is a GREAT book. If you want to know what the game of soccer is all about, this is the book for you. My husband is the coach of a local high school; before I bought this book, all I knew was you couldn't use your hands. This book has been invaluable. I enjoy watching the sport more, and I actually know what's going on.

This book is great - it's written in plain English and not "soccer language" so that anyone can understand it. Not only is it fun to read, you actually learn something useful by reading it. And it's not too long for those who have limited time for extra reading. Every soccer mom, dad, grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc. should read this book, it will make going to any soccer game an enjoyable experience.

This is a great book for understanding soccer. My husband is a youth coach and a huge fan of soccer and I read it just in time to watch the World Cup with him. I've watched many games, both youth and professional, and this is the first time I didn't just follow the ball around and wait for a goal. I actually like watching soccer now that I know what's going on.
