5.0 out of 5 stars Great game and weapons.
In this game you are a U.S. Navy Seal, the most lethal fighting force in the world. As a seal (SEa Air Land) you work in two man fireteams and are forced to go through a variety of elements. 3.0 out of 5 stars Worth picking up....
If you liked the first installment for the PSP, you will definitely find this game alot better. Cycling through weapons is much faster and easily controlled, wider variety of environments and characters. Better graphics and gameplay. Definitely worth adding to your PSP collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game and weapons., January 11, 2007

This review is from: SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2 (Video Game)
In this game you are a U.S. Navy Seal, the most lethal fighting force in the world. As a seal (SEa Air Land) you work in two man fireteams and are forced to go through a variety of elements. Camoflouged and equiped with real-world weapons. Your arsenal includes assault riffles such as the M16, M4, XM8, SFCR LW and HW, and AK-47 as well as many other types of weapons and explosives. The missions can prove to be difficult and you must learn to use team commands and be extremely stealth. You have your choice of partners, Wrath a master of stealth, Bronco a close range fighter, and Lonestar a sharpshooter. The infacture mode is good but it does have a slight tendancy to freeze. Overall this is a great game combining shooting and stealth, a must-buy for all PSP owners!

The second installment of Socom on the PSP is a quicker paced game, with improved graphics and controls, switching through guns is no problem now, it takes place within one country which gives this socom a different feel to it. Another great feature is the abilty to customize your navl seal by gainng points through mission success, you can change the entire look head to toe! and that is why This is one of the best games on the PSP and if you liked the first one you'll love Bravo 2

As far as PSP games go, this one is virtually unmatched. Great variety of weapons, better graphics, and better boards than the first Fireteam Bravo (which was no slouch of a game in itself). Do yourself a favor though and play above the Ensign level (which makes anyone feel like a SEAL due to the fact that you could not shoot a round and still conquer the game) and you will have numerous hours of fun with this one.

Okay first off I have to say this game is great , but the controlls are a little different than most FPS games , but you'll get over that.

Pros.

Great multiplayer.
Amazing charactor custumization.(only for multiplayer)
Many weapons, scopes, grenade launchers, silencers, and grenades to pick from.
Endless gameplay.
Pretty good graphics.(not the best)
Pretty good sound.(not the best)
Laoding doesn't take too long.
4 different difficulties.

Cons.

CPUs are stupid sometimes.
Campaign is too short.
Online multiplayer has hackers.

Yo are looking at these reviews to see if this game is any good , and to see if you should buy it.
I think it's worth every penny!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great game, But something you should know...., April 2, 2009

All in all, this is another great addition to the PSP and Socom franchises. The game has good graphics and tons of weapon customization. The game also has Multiplayer via the Internet which many PSP games don't have.

There's something you should know though... I bought this game FOR the online multiplayer. I wanted a game similar to Call of Duty multiplayer for the PS3, but on the PSP. The game comes very close, and is fun to play online. However, the game is somewhat ruined by Hackers that have taken over the multiplayer. The developers attempted to correct the problem by implementing a "banning" feature to ban hackers. The problem is the hackers have now taken over that ban system, and hackers are banning other players. Once banned you cannot access the SOCOM game servers for about a week. After 3 bans your PSP is blacklisted for life from SOCOM multiplayer servers.

Now I fear even playing online because I was already banned once. I am hoping that the developers will fix this problem, but it looks like they don't really care and aren't giving much support. If you are buying this game for the multiplayer, you might want to find something else. If the hacking problem is fixed, the game is a lot of fun in both single and multiplayer modes.

Wow, this game gets you hooked! It's pretty cool and challenging. The only issue is that when you play online with it, a majority of players online have hacked the game and they don't like a challenge. So most of the time the game rooms are locked for hackers only and the players can vote you out of a room. But if you like war-simulation games, get it!

not for nothing, for a psp game this game is great. I'm addicted to this game, the missions are pretty good. the only downside is the A.I could be a bit better and your partner could be a little smarter too. sometimes he gets stuck and you have to bail him out and sometimes he just won't shoot even though you set the command for open fire. The maps are great and the infulstructer gaming is worth it with the exception of online glichers. the gaming settings just takes a bit to get use to configuring but other than this the game is worth the bucks. what i love to do is mission redeployments just to up my rate a bit. If you like shooter games don't hesitate to get this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent game for the PSP!, August 6, 2008
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2 (Video Game)
This game is so much fun to play. It has a great 'Campaign' story mode, with great graphics and action rolled into one.

There are also two types of multiplayer modes: 'Adhoc' mode (where you can play with a friend) and 'Infrastructure' mode (where you can play online with people across the country). If you are looking for a shooter game mainly to play with people online, get this game! There are thousands of people playing this game online everyday, which makes it so much fun.

All in all, "Socom: Fire team Bravo 2" is the 'Call of Duty 4' for the PSP.

Rating: 10/10 stars

I just picked up this game and I love it! The graphics are great and its a solid upgrade over the first one for PSP. The current price tag of $15 alone is reason enough for everyone to get this game.
