I am a Kershaw knife fan, this was my first SOG. When I received the knife there was a problem with the lock-(it was loose and would lock and unlock itself). I just super-glued the lock open since the pocket clip keeps the blade tip down. I have now been carrying this knife everyday for nearly 2 years. It still opens fast and the CNC machined handle is a great design because it can take a lot of abuse and never shows wear; aside from offering excellent grip. Kershaws that I have owned at the same price did not hold up this long. To me, the worth of a tool is proven over time and this knife was certainly made to last.

I bought two of these knives as customer give aways. After I recieved the knives, I kept one for myself. This is an outstanding knife with features that set it apart from other knives I have carried in the past. Yhe one-handed opening feature is one of the best. The knife opens fast and locks open every time. The knife is razor sharp out of the box and this is the same knife that I found at my local big box hunting store for $70.00.

This is honestly the best knife that I have owned in my entire life. I have to tighten the clip once every few months, and sharpen it once a month or so, but mine has lasted about two years without a flaw. mine has a bent tip, but that is my fault. If you do not use it as a crow bar, the tip should stay straight and true.

The blade on the unit I got had way too much side to side play. Was charged shipping anyway on the return.

This was my 2nd Sog, definitely the most unique knife I have owned. Blade still opens easily, quickly, effortless one-handed action. It was sharp out of the box, unique handle fits well in my hands. Great for every day use...

Definitely different than other knives. Takes a little effort to open with the finger assist, but engages sharply. I had to super glue the lock open due to it's poor placement on the back side of frame. I saw another post stating the same problem. Works like a champ now, and also, it came scary sharp-as ALL knives should. I would recommend this knife to someone who has many knives like myself, and is familiar with the functioning of assisted type blades. Definitely not for the novice, and in no way is it a survival tool-it wouldn't last a day of harsh treatment ot being beat on. This is a nice curiosity type blade to play with a few times, then put back in the toy drawer.

This is the first time I've bought a SOG knife and I'll defiantly be buying more. The shipping was very fast and the knife was in great condition I use it all the time. I would recommend this item to anyone who is looking for somthing a little diffrent.

I just bought the Sog Topo and right out of the box I noticed there is a locking problem. You can't trust the locking system on this knife.. in my oppion Sog should re-fund my money because this is a real saftey issue. I understand after I purchased the Knife that Sog no longer makes this unit, it's no wonder. They almost got it right, Bummer Sog.
