I was disappointed to see this knife was not made in USA. (Taiwan) Factory edge is very nice. Blade is thin so I would not work it too hard. Not too thrilled with the sheath, but I do like the belt lock more then I thought I would. My main complaint about the sheath is the knife does not fit too well in to the sheath unless it is lined up just right. Then the sheath has a locking setup to hold the knife in place at the quillion/guard. I guess in the event you are upside down and do not have it clipped in..? Well removing it from this setup is difficult at best and I have to hold the sheath in place to yank it out. Over all I like the double sided edge, which is factory very sharp. I use my blades in sometimes wet and sometimes dirty environments, so time well tell how this one will hold up. The real truth is would I buy it again, probable not. It is a nice addition to my collection.
